Hi everybody--

Thanks for visiting! As of today, I'm a sophomore at boarding school who harbors a passion for all things language. Though as I've grown older, my fanfiction writing has become more seldom than often, I've recently made a pledge to get back into the swing of things, if just for the sake of improving my readers and potential writers, I can't encourage you enough to pick up the pen (or hit the keyboard?). I never realized until I walked into my freshmen English class how fanfiction had drastically improved my writing, both creatively and analytically. I figure, since its been such a useful tool to me in the past, why not continue down that pathway and seek to improve some more?

Although I follow numerous fandoms (Harry Potter, Bones, & Mortal Instruments to name a few), most of my work here will probably be NCIS-related. I started watching the show last spring (yes, I'm a newbie fan!), but since then I've watched almost every single episode produced. NCIS is definitely one of the best TV programs out there. I'm a huge Ziva-advocate, so most of my stories will probably be centered around her. I also possess a great amount of affection for Gibbs and Ducky. As far as Tony, though not my favorite character, since post-Jeanne and even more since post-Somolia, he's become less of an arrogant twerp. To finish-- I have mixed feelings as far as the whole "Tiva" thing-- I wouldn't mind seeing them together as a couple, but if it would be short-term and detrimental to their characters, I would be stark mad. I'd rather see the characters separate and happy than falling apart after a break-up.

For closing, I'd like to say a few words as far as reviewing. Honest to God, to you readers, I cannot tell you enough times that THE best way to motivate an author to update your favorite story is clicking that little review button. Though all reviews (not flames) are welcomed and appreciated, the certain way to make an author grin from ear-to-ear is to offer constructive criticism, to be nit-picky and appreciate the particulars of the language and/or plot.

Oh, and I'm female, haha. Just thought I'd mention that in case you couldn't guess! Love and best to everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with the citizens of Haiti...
