I so wish that conversation would have happened in canon. Both of them would have deserved it! With all that tragedy about Sirius spending so much of his life in Azkaban, it's so easy to forget that Regulus went through his own personal hell.
I especially like the "apologizing for breaking his broom eight years ago and also for killing muggles", because the first is such a trivial thing, while for the latter you can't really apologize.

Whoa. That was powerful. But I think I got lost in the timeline XD. I doubt you'll answer so I won't ask anything but that was a pretty intense story even if I can't exactly pinpoint why.
Anyway, sorry this last review is short, but it's late where I am. Thank you for writing something like this, So out of the norm, It's refreshing.

I really like how you write, and the tension I feel is fantastic... But your way of writing Sirius hurts me a bit, He's one of my favorites...haha though I'm not complaining, it's interesting seeing him portrayed with an emphasis on his childishness.
And you cliffhanger? Priceless.

...The Potters don't really have a good hand in picking godfathers do they? I think I see where all this is headed to (redundant since this is complete really) but I may be mistaken, and even so... I've never really liked Pete, He's portrayed as little more than a selfish traitor in the books so... maybe I'm biased. But surely there has to be a better choice than a major prankster and a skulking sort-of-friend...right?
Sorry, I'm just rambling on my own.
