Um, hello. My name is Gamer Spice, and I'm kinda new to this (I mean, I created an account to Favorite stories and leave reviews). Well, I enjoy reading a lot (whether online, or actual books), and I enjoy Fan Fiction, so of course, I jumped on board this site when I discovered it existed. I also enjoy lots of animated movies and kids cartoons. So, basically, I'm a young adult that refuses to grow up! (But I also enjoy M rated stories, as long as it's engaging and well written; NEVER gonna be a fan of Fifty Shades of Grey! Ugh!)

UPDATE: If anyone read my original profile, you'll see that half of it is gone now. Don't worry, I saved it all in my documents so they're not completely gone. But I came to realize that I treated my profile way too much like a diary. I recently came to the conclusion that if I got too personal when it came to my favorite fandoms, I'm potentially inviting people to start a fight. Because it's 2020, and no one is allowed to be content with having their own opinion. And I try my best to stay out of politics or taboo controversies because they all make me uncomfortable, mostly because I'm severely afraid of accidentally saying something that angers someone else. So I'm now keeping my profile fairly simple, with only enough personal information to let you know what kind of person I am, and hopefully that's good. :)

2019 EDIT: I originally had this section to promote some eventual stories, but I've finally realized that these will never come to fruition, either because I'll never get around to completing them, or because they wouldn't actually be very good. But after seeing how well my X-Men AU Trilogy has done, it won't exactly rule out any possibly future stories. EDIT FROM A LONG TIME AGO: Speaking of Harry Potter crossovers, recently both of the Hiccup Haddock/Harry Potter stories by Optimus524 and hopelessromantic4life had been removed from this site for no apparent reason (as far as I'm aware), which made me very sad, because I loved them very much, AND they were removed on my birthday. I know, right? But hopelessromantic4life has started reposting hers on Archive of Our Own, starting with Philosopher's Stone, under the name Chasingstardust22. If you were a fan of those stories before they got removed, or you like Harry Potter/How to Train Your Dragon, please go read it! It's called Book One: The Philosopher's Stone. It hasn't been getting a lot of reviews or comments, which is why I'm bringing this up. Please show her your support! You don't even need an account to review or leave Kudos! (Edit: I'm not sure if the author is still active anymore, and last I checked, the series has not been finished. But what has been written is still enjoyable)

IMPORTANT NOTE: On my third Kingdom Hearts story, I received an anonymous review (which I ended up deleting) stating that they did not like a ship I mentioned ONCE in it (it was SoRiku). They tried to tell me that it was "okay" if I shipped SoRiku and VenKai (the ship that the story was focusing on), but they ship SoKai because they shared a paopu fruit. I do not appreciate reviews like this; this gives me the impression that you did not like my content simply for my ship preferences. You're allowed to ship whoever you want, but please don't try to enforce a ship onto someone just because they may ship a couple you don't like. If you don't like a ship or ships in a fan fic/piece of fan art, kindly keep your silence and click out. You may not like a certain ship or ships, but understand that some people do. Ship who you want, and let others ship who they want.

REASON FOR SAID NAME: I'm a gaming fan, and a Spice Girls fan. I own copies of their albums and bonus songs, and even a DVD copy of their movie Spice World, I don't actually OWN them. Just a loyal fan. It's also my YouTube account name.

Also, my Steam account name is sub_skarlet, which is what I'll be using when I play an online Jedi Outcast/Academy server. I'm now a member of J4F, so my player name is J4F*Skarlet*J, but I'll be listed as Skarlet.

EDIT: Unfortunately, J4F is dead, so now I'm a member of the JAWA clan for Jedi Academy. I'm currently known as (JAWA)KnightSkarlet.

I didn't give him much thought when I was younger, because teen heartthrobs weren't my thing, but after Kingdom Hearts and actually listening to his music, I'm finally catching up with everyone else that crushed/crushes on him!
3. Internet celebrity crush: Courtney Miller, former Vine star and current member of the Smosh Squad (she's beautiful, funny and talented, I would love to meet her, especially because I would like to work for Smosh) EDIT: I'm starting to fall in love with Rosanna Pansino now

5. Cartoon crush: Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender (so is Aang!) EDIT: After watching X-Men: Evolution for the first time in years and becoming a fan once more, I'm reminded by how much I loved Rogue. I understand that most prefer Rogue from the 90's animated series or the comics, but Evolution was the first version of X-Men I ever experienced. It's just something about the Gothic, sarcastic southern belle Rogue that makes me unabashedly admit to being in love with her.
6. Video game crush: Lara Croft (who else? Runners up are Skarlet from Mortal Kombat 9 and Tanya from Mortal Kombat X) EDIT: I've kinda been keeping this a secret for a while, but I feel like I need to add this next video game beauty: Aqua from Kingdom Hearts. Yes, Kairi, Naminé, and Xion are cuties, as well as the boys, but there's something about Aqua that has me swooning. Maybe it's her gorgeous hair, her soothing voice, her battle skills, or her body, I don't know. But she's BEAUTIFUL!

2020 Edit that involves Harry Potter: In light of the series of unfortunate events involving the author's views on certain topics, I'd like to use this to reassure anyone reading my profile that I do not support her views. I still love the franchise, but I am very disappointed (and even disgusted) with her actions and statements. In short, I don't support the author, but I still enjoy the Harry Potter franchise for its themes of, to quote Caddicarus in his Harry Potter PS1 review, "growing up, friendship, family, responsibility, fate, and courage."

Just to further clarify, Harry Potter has been out for so long, it's safe to say that it now belongs to the fans. The fans have kept the franchise alive with fan art, fan fiction, tributes, parodies, and a plethora of discussions about theories, opinions, headcanons, and more. I haven't really associated the franchise with the author at all, because I fell so deeply in love with the story and the characters that I'm taken to another world every time I reread or rewatch Harry Potter. It is possible to still love the franchise and not support the author (many fans are taking a step further by not buying merchandise that would give money directly to her).

Harry Potter belongs to the fans. We present the franchise with love and support while the author goes on her own path.

OTHER: I've been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, but I'm also considered "high-functioning".

I originally had this little section showcasing my ships, but as of late, I've come to understand that ship preferences seem to be an invitation to start a fight. If you remember what my ships are, they are mostly the same, but I'm keeping them to myself from now on, unless I feel like sharing somewhere.

MY FAVORITE THINGS

FAVORITE MOVIES: Disney, Pixar, and DreamWorks animated movies, Aardman movies Wallace & Gromit and Chicken Run, LEGO movies, basically any animated movie, Harry Potter movies, Star Wars movies (I enjoy all of them. They all have problems, of course, but I personally still find them enjoyable), Spy Kids, Samantha: An American Girl Holiday, The Princess Diaries movies, Tomb Raider movies (I'm a huge fan of Angelina Jolie!)

Something I thought I should share with you. If it weren't for The Lion King, I probably wouldn't have been born (or at least, have been born much later). I was born in '95. When my parents saw Lion King in '94, they were inspired to have me. While my mom was pregnant with me, she and my dad decorated my room with Lion King stuff, regardless of my gender. Because of this, Lion King will always hold a special place in my heart.

Concerning the live action Disney remakes, I know they're pointless, but I still enjoyed some of them. I like Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, the Maleficent movies, and Mulan. And I know about the controversy surrounding Liu Yifei, but I put that aside when I watched the movie, because in hindsight, the movie had nothing to do with that controversy. It was an enjoyable and captivating experience, and I like how it was executed. I still love the original film, of course, but I appreciate the new one for forgoing the comedic route and being more true to the original legend. Mushu would have stood out like a sore thumb. All of this does not mean I support or condone police brutality.

As for the "live action" Lion King...well, I liked some parts of it. I know it was far from perfect, but my first viewing was still entertaining.

Also, I found only 1 Teletubbies fan fic that was good (The Hill by zenonaa; EDIT: I found two more, Teletubbies: Fun Day! by watchfullkittycat32 and The Tubby Bathtub by bubblebathgirl13). Why can't people write Teletubbies fan fics that DON'T feature the Teletubbies dying or being disgusting?!), The Penguins of Madagascar, Victorious, X-Men: Evolution
