![]() Author has written 77 stories for Toy Story, Diagnosis Murder, Beauty and the Beast, Dracula Untold, Flash, Arrow, Pirates of the Caribbean, Chronicles of Narnia, Kingdom Hearts, Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, PAW Patrol, Sue Thomas: FB Eye, and Cinderella. About me: Hi! I'm a big Toy Story fan who enjoys reading and writing. I really like Sheriff Woody, he has always been my favorite character in the series! And Slinky Dog too. I hope to write delightful, enjoyable stories. I am also a huge fan of Sue Thomas FBEye!! Growing up, it was my number 1 favorite TV show. Diagnosis Murder is so nostalgic! I grew up watching and loving Little House on the Prairie, but I'm having a hard time wanting to watch it since my mom died in July 2018. I have many other shows and movies that I really like too. I also like Balto, Tangled, Flash, Arrow, Dracula Untold, Diagnosis Murder, Big Hero 6, Narnia, Sing, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, It's a Wonderful Life, Sense and Sensibility (1995), The Man Who Invented Christmas, Zootopia, The Lion King, Sherlock Holmes (preferably Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce), The Inheritance, National Treasure, Pirates of the Caribbean, Hobbit, the video game Kingdom Hearts-OH YEAH!- and many other things. Oh, yes. This passed year I have become a hardcore Lord of the Rings fan! My sister introduced me to it, and I don't regret it for a moment! It is one of the most epic, amazing, unforgettable fiction stories ever told! I am a born again Christian who believes in Jesus and that He is the ONLY Way to eternal life, because that is what the Bible says in John 14. God is very important to me. No, I don't have unshakable faith. As a matter of fact, it is pretty rocky at the moment. But I know in my heart and from the past that God is faithful and I am glad He always has a purpose, even if I cannot see it at the moment (which can be pretty terrifying)! I am not infallible, no one is. I make mistakes, I make wrong choices sometimes. I am NOT always right! But with God's help and because He lives in me through Jesus, I can do my best to be a good person that others can see and be loved by. Facts about the Author Name: Rebecca Pen Name: Mustard Lady This was a nickname I gave myself, and then earned COMPLETELY by accident. The day I made a joke of it, I never thought it would stick with me! When my friends or I mention it, we laugh. Blog: http:/// Writing: I have enjoyed stories and writing ever since I was a little girl, and I enjoy publicly sharing my fanfics. My goal is to be God's shining light. My desire is to reach out to people through my writing, whether my stories make them smile, laugh, and temporarily forget their troubles, or through drama, remind people that they're not alone, that Someone cares. Characters: Woody is my number one favorite toy in the series. He's kind, friendly, funny, determined, smart and as Tom Hanks himself said, "Passionate...100% committed." Oh, I know he can get flustered, impatient, and stubborn at times, but he's such a good friend. Slinky is my next favorite. Number 1: he's a dog! Enough said, right? Well, not really. He's so loyal, especially to Woody when no one else will believe him. He's willing to do whatever it takes to help his friends, and sometimes his springy body becomes an essential tool in helping his friends out of sticky situations. He's charming, he's cute (he's a dog), he's thoughtful, he's sensible, he's just endearing. Can't help but love him. I do have favorites with the other characters, but these two are at the top of the list for me. Princess Mitsy. Princess Mitsy is a character I came up with that I've been working with several different ways over the years, 'til I was satisfied. She's a doll, made similar to Woody and Jessie with the plastic face, arms and hands, and a cloth body. She's short too, the top of her head plus the crown reaching just above Buzz's shoulder. She loves her family of toys owned by Andy and later passed on to Bonnie. She thinks she's such a lucky toy to have such wonderful friends. I've always wanted Pixar to put a young girl toy in the series who would be a daughter figure to Woody, but they never have, so I did. Also I always imagined her being Slinky's side-kick and I enjoy putting them together in my fanfics. She thinks of Woody as her 'adopted' father and admires his kind manner. She also considers Bo Peep to be like her mother, and tries to be an encourager like she is. She wants someday to be as caring, smart, and brave as Woody is. And I put that he thinks of her that way too, and he calls her "Little Bit", his personal pet name for her. She calls him "Big Guy". Though he can be a bit doting at times, Woody is not one to spoil his 'children'. When he lays down the law, he's unbending. Mitsy actually enjoys and sometimes finds it amusing when Woody fusses over her in his protective streak, whether he's overdoing it or not. She's grateful to him for it because it means how much her cares, and makes her feel safe compared to if he always let her do whatever she wanted. At first, they were mere friends, but things started to grow bigger than friendship. But it was after he lost Bo Peep to the yard sale, that their relationship deepened. After he felt so alone without his beautiful shepherdess, Woody started to truly think of Mitsy as his and Bo's 'adopted' little girl-though she's more like a 16-year-old-and started to look after her the way he does Jessie. Mitsy and Slinky are the best of friends and will do anything for each other. She doesn't like unkind teasing, and if she thinks a certain kind of prank is too much of a dirty trick, she'll back out. She likes reading and can often be found with her nose in a book, if she's not playing with Slinky. Mitsy knows American Sign Language, as her former owner was deaf, and likes to use it, especially when trying to say something that she hopes to keep her friends guessing about. She enjoys music and dancing, being around friends, and loves dogs. She looks for the good in people and toys and is an optimist and usually points out the sunny side of life to her friends. She thinks of Buzz like an uncle, but also the law official in Andy's room, next to Woody; yet, they don't share the open, affectionate relationship that she does with the cowboy. Mitsy loves Bo Peep like a mother, and tries to follow her example of being an encourager. Mitsy feels like Jessie is her older sister (it's okay, because we have an older cousin who has always felt more like a big sister to us, plus we have younger cousins who have felt more nieces and nephews), and loves her dearly, and they are good friends. Mitsy and Jessie often like to "speak" to each other using Sign Language when telling secrets in a crowd or making wise cracks in front of their friends and the other toys don't even know what the two girls are saying! Mitsy feels sorry for Rex when he's picked on for his timidity, and usually tries to have a kind word for him. Mitsy is very fond of dogs and as far as I've written, she doesn't have anybody that she is romantically interested in or attracted to right now (I might be open to suggestions or ideas about that!). She's happy where she is, as long as she's with her friends. When she first comes to Andy's, she scared when she hears sirens because they remind her of the night her former owner, Maddie was killed in a car accident. But through some advice from Buzz, she grows to not be scared of them anymore. But the one thing she hates and fears more than anything in the world is fire. Her owner's house burned recently after her death, and Mitsy in the midst of trying to escape, became separated from her friend, Jack, a stuffed dog who was also owned by Maddie. Throughout my stories, Mitsy doesn't know whether Jack is dead or alive, if he made it out of the house fire. She keeps hoping he's alive and dreams of them finding each other again someday, and she's never at a loss for words to tell everyone about how wonderful a dog and friend he was, at times to her friends' annoyance as they've heard it so many times. But Mitsy hates fire and is scared nearly to death of it. She'll enjoy the warm glow and feeling from a cozy fireplace, or the dreamy feeling from candlelight, but she's leery of beer and cigarettes as her owner's dad was consumed with both when the house burned. But now, she has a circle of caring, various friends and a fun, loving owner, and thinks she's the most blessed toy ever. 2. Jack. Jack is Mitsy's best friend, who was owned by the same sweet, little deaf girl, Maddie. Jack had been living in Maddie's bedroom since she was born, he was the first stuffed animal her parents had gotten for her. He became Mitsy's best friend, her very first friend, her dog, and her protector. He is a stuffed German Shepherd dog. He is strong, muscular, agile, kind, wise, tough, and gentle. He cares about people and other toys and can't stand to see them mistreated in any way. Maddie had other toys, but Jack and the princess were her top favorite, and she usually took them almost everywhere with her. On one rare night, when she left them at home to go grocery shopping with her parents, their car was hit by a drunk driver, and though her parents survived, 7-year-old Maddie died from the collision. Since they were her favorite toys, Jack and Mitsy had been put on display at their owner's funeral, and they were kept in her bedroom as a consolation to Maddie's mother, even after the other toys had been given away. Given to smoking and drinking, Maddie's father became an angry man, and one night when his wife was staying away from home, in his drunken state he accidentally set fire to the house. Mitsy and Jack tried to escape, but became separated in the inferno. Mitsy misses him a lot, and doesn't know what happened to him. Mitsy absolutely adores him, or at least his memory. 3. Spike the Bulldog. Spike is a cruel, evil, heartless, bloodthirsty plastic toy who doesn't like kids. Even when he was owned, he didn't want to be ruled over, he wanted to be the ruler, and when he was given away, he saw his chance. He is a very big, muscular, intimidating dog and likes to frighten other toys if they don't sympathize with his cause. He, like Sid, likes to hurt and torture others and starts his own gang of brutes. Later on in my stories' timeline, he becomes an abhorred, greatly feared enemy to Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the rest of the Toy Story band. Spike is a brutal, murderous toy and it would be better for the toy world if he never existed! 4. Puss in the Boots, Stinger, Pinch, Sniper, and Snaps. These toys are Spike's horrid honchoes who are just as cold and ruthless as he is, especially Puss in the Boots who delights in cruelty. Puss in the Boots is a medium height stuffed gray pirate cat, with a green bandana tied backwards around his head, a button less black vest, and a patch over his left eye. He wholeheartedly follows Spike's lead in brutality and anarchy. Stinger is a an orange, plastic scorpion toy and part of Spike's gang. Pinch is a robot and a gang member too. Sniper is a plastic action figure combat toy who likes to intimidate and hurt other toys by shooting sewing needles at them with his toy gun. Snaps is a tall, dark blue, stuffed crocodile who is Spike's right hand man and advisor. 5. Nero the Great. I haven't introduced Nero yet either, as I am still in the process of completing that story. Nero is a plastic action figure owned by Jason, one of Andy's friends. Nero is a tall, gray wolf. He wears a crown, and is dressed very much like a Roman centurion with a bronze chest plate, bronze arm wear and leg wear, brown sandals, and a dark purple cape attached to his shoulders. He carries a plastic spear with a rubber tip for the blade. Nero could be a great leader in Jason's room, but when he's fresh out of the box, he's smug, pompous, demanding, and acts very much like a big spoiled rotten kid. He acts like he deserves great glory and special treatment because of his position and lords it over the other toys to treat him so. He is egotistical and doesn't like it when toys tell him to humble himself. When he is borrowed by Andy and brought to his room, Woody, Buzz, and the others are stuck with this "guest" who they're already fed up with and try to maintain a polite manner of hospitality, yet hoping that they can teach him what being a leader is truly about. Diagnosis Murder OC's-Stacy, Kat, Julie In my regular Diagnosis Murder stories, I make that Steve was married but his wife died of cancer when his two daughters were both still very young. In my DM crossovers, I don't intend to include them though. I imagine actress Katie Cassidy as what Stacy-Steve's oldest daughter-would look like, except shorter stature and I picture actress Caity Lotz as Kat, except with hazel eyes and brunette hair. I want to write some stories for the Toy Story gang of the humanized version. Some ideas have popped into my head, but nothing exactly concrete yet. I might write some later on, but for now, I'll stick with them being toys. Story Ratings: I prefer to keep my stories K, but however, that's not always the case. I want to be very clear about something though: when I rate my stories T rated, it is because the content may involve harsh words, I slash out the cursing if I include it, excessive name-calling (which I don't want to encourage young children to do), and thematic peril which might frighten young kids, plus violence, and dark themes. So, if my stories are T rated, that is why. |
