| Mustard Lady chapter 7 . 10/14/2019 That was hard to read. I HATED it when our parents argued! It was awful. What did you expect to happen, Dis? Did you really NOT think the boys would hear with all that racket going on? Thorin was very longsuffering in this chapter. Thorin has been a solid, security figure in their lives since losing your husband. And now you just ripped him from their lives? Just like that? Just so you could be right? That was wrong! I know that men can often misrepresent what they really mean to say, but in this case, Thorin was very precise in what he said. Wow! Dis REALLY blew it, especially trying to turn the boys' minds against him! I'm glad Dwalin, and the boys all stood up for Thorin. Yes, Dis was contrite and truly sorry. But I was glad Dwalin confronted her! This chapter was ugly...but so well written! |
