I have been suffering from major writer's block so any updates may be slow and new stories few and far between. However, thank you to everyone who has supported me through comments or messages of ideas and advice throughout the years since I joined in 2011, it means an awful lot!

I have put the stories I have written in series in the correct order in their respective series, so if you want to read them in order I have tried to make it easier for you to do so.

The main aspects of this series: the friendship/mentorship between Herrmann and Casey, following Casey from Candidate to Lieutenant and the brotherly friendship between Severide and Casey with appearances made by Andy.)

1. Becoming Red (Kelly and Andy meet Matt at the Academy. Set in 1996)

2. Always the Quiet Ones (While still at the Academy Matt's past involving his mother comes to light. Set in 1996)

3. Big Wide World (It's time for Matt, Kelly and Andy to graduate the Academy and begin their shifts at their Firehouses. Set in 1997)

4. Old and New (Focuses on the friendship between Herrmann and Casey, contains flashbacks to when Casey was a Candidate. Set in 2012/1998)

5. What Happened? (Severide's POV of one of the flashbacks from Old and New. Set in 1998)

6. Squad vs. Truck (Severide's first couple of shifts with squad 3, and a friendly argument between Severide and Casey about which is better, truck or squad. Set in 1999)

7. Brothers by Bond (Matt is injured at a warehouse fire and Kelly is worried for his brother. Set in 2000)

8. Changes in the Air (Matt is taking the Lieutenants exam and Kelly is being like any supportive older brother, annoying. Set in 2006)

9. Is Knowing for the Best? (Matt finally knows why his mother killed his father and is torn between relief and guilt. Luckily for him Kelly is nearby to offer some comfort in spite of their recent troubles. Set in 2013/1995/1996)

10. There's No Second Try (Multiple chapters. Kelly must cope when a fellow firefighter, one of his brothers, is trapped in a building on fire with no way out. Set in 2011)
