autumnchild25 chapter 75 . 4/22 nice i had hoped to see faramir explain to aragorn about his wounds. But i like this story very much. |
Guest chapter 22 . 5/15/2019 Wonderful! A few spelling and grammar errors here and there, but otherwise amazing! |
Guest chapter 5 . 5/14/2019 This story is amazing so far! I love love love your portrayal of Faramir so far! |
Sira chapter 75 . 6/19/2018 I've just finished this story and I still enjoy it. I like your perspective of Faramir as the one who went to Rivendell. Superb job. |
snowleopard314 chapter 75 . 12/7/2016 I think I loved this story. I actually just started to write a lord of the rings fiction in journal format, and seeing this makes me appreciate how good of a writer you are because it was executed perfectly. I also want to acknowledge your date keeping, cus I am to lazy to truly look things up like that. Faramir is one of my favorite charactors, and to see him portrayed so well was awesome. I really did enjoy reading this, and I read the entire thing in a day too. And now that just sounds sad...but it got me happy again so all is good. I also loved how you portrayed the relationships within the Fellowship. Not a lot of fics show that, which is a shame because I know from experience that being with a group of people for a long time as they were and going through things even of a lesser importance to war really does bring them together. I will leave of with a heart felt thank you for writing this! |
EVA-Saiyajin chapter 17 . 2/1/2016 Slight issue with a bit of rehashing. Gandalf essentially ignored Faramir's question about Shadowfax. |
AntiCreator chapter 11 . 8/15/2015 When you have an elf and a dwarf in a boat situation, if there should be an incident the blame was placed squarely on the dwarf. |
paintbuckets chapter 21 . 6/22/2015 It would be best if you wrote out the numbers. That way you will not start a sentence with "2,000", as that's very bad form. Besides that small discrepancy I adore this story! It's a fresh change from the exhausting amount of Legomances. |
Pyrane chapter 75 . 5/21/2014 Truly an epic tale ! And I always loved Faramir so much, I would have gone and killed Peter Jackson myself for what he reduced him to be. "I would not take this thing, if it lay by the highway." Indeed ! And here he was on the screen, feeble and full of fear, bringing the Ring to Olgiliath ! What a shame ! So, truly : Thanks ! ***Pyrane*** |
TMI Fairy chapter 62 . 8/17/2013 Not bad. Borys |
Guest chapter 57 . 1/6/2013 Wait. I just realised something. Where did the Uruk-hai come from? Minas Tirith is a walled city, and while the gate was broken, there have to be guards there. Surely somebody would notice a giant mutated Orc running around the first circle. •• |
blue-box-quidditch chapter 75 . 12/29/2012 I. LOVED. It. -Silver |
Minstrel of Gondor chapter 59 . 12/19/2012 This is an excellent story but please note that the olog-hai are actualy a breed of trolls, not a breed of orcs as you wrote; the word 'olog' meaning troll in the black speech. Please refer to Appendix F, Section I which states ''But at the end of the Third Age a troll-race not before seen appeared in Southern Mirkwood and in the mountain borders of Mordor. Olog-hai they were called in the black speech...in fashion of body and mind quite unlike even the largest of Orc-kind, whom they far surpassed in size and power. Trolls they were, but filled with the evil will of their master: a fell race, strong, agile, fierce and cunning, but harder than stone'' [page 1106 of ''Return of the King'' -Collins modern classics edition] |
townlights chapter 3 . 10/6/2012 I liked this. |
townlights chapter 2 . 9/30/2012 This was a good chapter. Can't wait to read more tomorrow. |
