Oh. Oh my gosh. Halfway through the fic I could feel my heart breaking, Kaoru saying a symbolic goodbye to his mirror image, Hikaru's raw tears, Kaoru realising he's doing the same, and I realised my face just fell and my heart was clenched. Then I reached the end and couldn't help but sob and laugh and coo in relief.

This is so, so beautiful. The lines are beautiful, the words are just right, and my heart is happy now.

ohohohohoh. there is just so much -oh- that i absolutely can;t think of anything but the oh (and the lovely lines, seriously), because i'm usually reserved and don't like to read ouran from authors i don't know because people get it very wrong sometimes but this is fantastic.
