This was so touching

This was beautiful. I teared up at the end. I love how Joe and Henry are jealous of each other for the roles they play in Barry's life. And I love how you showed that Joe hates Henry for killing Nora and how Henry loves Joe for taking care of Barry. I also love how you put the guard that is disgusted by Henry and Barry's relationship because he believes Henry killed Nora in the story. It helps the transition from Joe to Henry go much smoother.

I really, really loved this. The tinge of sadness and melancholy that ran through it was really well done. My favourite bit was probably the perspective of the guard- it was a great touch and a lovely outside look at Barry's relationship with his father. Great job on this!

I really like the way you portrayed the relations betweeen both Barry and Joe, and Barry and Henry. I think that Henry would be a bit jealous of Joe's interactions with Barry, expecially since Joe didn't believe Henry, but - overall - he would try to think of it as nessesity, because he himself can't be there for his son.

I must say that I like Henry's part more.
