I'm glad Thorin and Kili both spoke up and didn't sugarcoat anything! It would've been different if in the beginning she had explained that she needed time away and said a proper goodbye! Thank you for writing a hurt/comfort/friendship story for Thorin and Bilbo that isn't slash. They're hard to find! While Thorin could fall in love with someone, I honestly believe Bilbo would be perfectly happy living on his own.
