![]() Author has written 26 stories for Pretty Guardian Sailormoon/美少女戦士 セーラームーン. This is a first for me. I've been frequenting this site and countless other fanfiction sites ever since I learned about the existence of such a creature, but until recently, I've never actually written any of my own. For some reason I've always had a really hard time playing with other people's creations. I suppose that's why when I choose fics to read, I'm so picky. If someone does something too out of character or the situation is just plain ridiculous (said the anime fan) it throws me out of the story with a resounding thud. Thankfully, there's an abundance of good stuff on here. Am I supposed to talk about me here? Maybe I'd prefer to keep to the shadows and just remain a mystery to you, hm? Letsee, you clearly already know I enjoy the pairing of Rei and Minako, but more in the PGSM incarnation. I honestly never really saw them as a pair in the anime (in fairness, I haven't seen every episode--a fact I am trying to remedy), but then I watched PGSM and was floored. It was Grissom and Sara all over again (yes, I enjoy a good bit of CSI fanfickery too), with the 'Hey, is there something going on there? I think I think there is! Oh my god!' and frustration galore at their foolishness... Ahem. What is in this can of pop? (Soda, for those of you who don't speak Canadian) What else, what else. Nice that I can come back and edit this anytime. Yeah. Other things I enjoy in the land of fanfic... Harry Potter, I mentioned CSI, for awhile I read some decent Iron Man movie fics, oh and I used to read a metric ton of Digimon fics. Is anyone else completely stunned that Sora ended up with Matt and not Tai? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? ...Ah crap, I totally just aged myself. Moving on. To everyone who has favourited my stories: THANK YOU, YOU'RE AWESOME! And to everyone who reads 'em? THANK YOU, YOU'RE AWESOME! Update, January 16, 2015 - I live. Carmilla has taken over my life. If you haven't watched it yet, look it up and watch the hell out of it. Also, find me on tumblr at lilkearnsie. I just reblog other people's cool stuff mostly. It occurs to me that while I have been writing and posting these stories of mine in fairly random order, quite by accident they have ended up possessing some sort of reading order. They can largely be read as standalone pieces, but at the same time, there is a sort of chronology to them. So, in case anyone's interested, here they are: Astronomy Lessons on the Moon Astronomy Lessons at Hikawa Shrine Detailed Images (takes place between chapters 1 & 2 of above story) Rain and Rugby Outings Storm of Passion Lock and Key Not Today Winter Flames Risa's Song Make Up Power Outages and Popsicles Koi Ponds, Koalas, and Playing Dumb (over 18 000 hits! Holy moly and thank you!!) Waking Sensations Reading for Pleasure Pause It A Wet Dream Old Nightmares, New Memories Would You Refuse Me Someday Unexpected This Time Fall Learning Risa's Song (more of a side-story that expands on the pre-existing ones, kind of sort of) Moonbeams and Meetings (another side-story that expands on some of the events of the above story good lord could I make things any more complicated? o_O; ...I bet I could.) That's all for now, folks. |
