It is not really believable to have 2 keyblade masters having trouble with 1 heartless.. even if they are in the Realm of Darkness.. but regardless this is Well written chapter

So glad I found this story, Vanitas and and Aqua is a paring I had never really considered before, but this story has easily brought me on board with it. Your characterization of them is brilliant and definitely part of my view of them now.
One of my favorite traits of Roxas was how innocent and naive he was in 358, he was brought into the world fully formed but knowing nothing and seeing him learn was one of the best parts of that game. I love how you have integrated this into Vanitas, I never considered it but it makes sense with him being brought up by Xehanort as nothing but a tool to forge the X-Blade. Really looking forward to future updates.

I really enjoy how you write. The story keeps me on edge while also giving me cute little moments. I hope you continue with this, I always get excited when I see you've updated.

So, it seems like Vanitas has sort of overcome his wayward thoughts of stealing Aqua away? That little part was epic, how he will do “anything to stay worthy of her friendship”. I love how their relationship is progressing.

Vanitas is so innocent about some things it’s almost adorable! I feel like most people think he wouldn’t be as unknowing about a lot of things but this is a new side that really fits well, if you consider how he was trained/brought up. It’s cute!

That fight scene was awesome. It makes sense with them being in the Realm of Darkness and all that they’d get attacked quite frequently by all sorts of things. And now Vanitas is her best friend! Yay! Aaand...she’s having some 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵 thoughts...heheheh...

Haha, Vanitas, you don't even realize it, but you are one smooth operator! "What if I never want to" indeed! I love that you are adding to the romantic tension, while still focusing on Aqua and Vanitas just figuring out how to navigate the minefields of trauma and (pride and) prejudice that they are both bringing to the table. Aqua is totally crushing, but doesn't want to admit it, while Vanitas has gone over the Crush Event Horizon and sailed out into the Obsessive Love Sea, all without having the foggiest idea about what is going on.
It's massively entertaining, and I am so here for it. When Aqua and Van were drawing portraits, and Aqua just sorta shoehorned her two friends in between them (or at least that's how Vanitas saw it), I was like "Uh oh, this can only go well", and then when she sorta ditches him for the blue flood (at least I'm pretty sure that's what happened) I was like Surely, this prickly dude's insecurities will not come out in an ugly way later on"

I know that it isn't going to happen here (95% sure anyway), but wouldn't Vanitas make an excellent yandere? XD
Jokes aside, this was one bomb-diggity chapter! The last sentence punched me right in the feels, btw.
All around, I'm excited to find out what happens next! What is this mystery affliction that keeps bringing Aqua low? What is that Blue Flood's deal, and why does Vanitas hate it so much? When will the wayfinder be finished? I mean, dont Tell me, obviously, because it is going to be way more fun to read about it, but I sure am curious!
