| Guest chapter 6 . 1/26/2019 this fic is ok but i would like to point out that you said they watch the movie right after hiccup meets toothless but hiccup did not have a name for toothless until they met and hiccup in chapter 6 is thinking "to take toothless and leave berk". He also does not know how tame dragons can be yet and how does he know that the dragon he has only met once will want to leave berk with him. How would he know that he can touch toothless in order to fly with him (or get toothless on a boat). The timeline is a bit strange? The only true redeeming quality is that this has been completed, because many 'watching' or 'reading' fics are not. btw-I have not read the fic after chapter 12 because of how confusing it was. I know it is completed only because you have marked it as completed and i skipped to the back of the story. |
 Zen Kar chapter 1 . 1/1/2019 my major problem is this story starts before he hit toothless but some how knows who toothless is. it doesn't make sense. in the first training scene he thought he was going to die but then how did he know no one would take care of toothless? need to figure out if this is before or after him hitting toothless |
| Sacredfire44 chapter 6 . 6/2/2018 I love the story, but one inaccuracy annoys me just a teeny bit. When Hiccup goes to attack Snotlout, I think he should be able to land to hit, since it was shown in Race to the Edge that Hiccup, if angry enough, can hit hard enough to knock Snotlout out and leave him with a pretty bad concussion. Haha, I know this story is more dramatic than funny, but that would have been hilarious. |

| Aspielady chapter 12 . 5/22/2017 I love these "watching the movie" fanfics! This is the first one I've read that has the village calling Hiccup a traitor and attacking him after seeing him free Toothless. Not to mention Hiccup telling off everybody, including Stoick, and say that he's going to leave once the movie's over. |
