I enjoy a good book. Doesn't matter what genre it is, I like to read. Some kids grow up listening to their parents reading them stories like Cinderella and all that. Not me. I grew up listening to my parents read the Illiad, The Odyssey, and all those "Classic" stories. It's a good thing they did cause I was always ahead of all my fellow students in English and Literature classes.

After being separated from her friends, Amira vanishes from the forest. Waking up in a back alley on a planet she's never known, Amira finds herself hidden among the Jedi for her own protection. Discovering two hidden abilities, Amira must navigate not only training to become a Shadow for the Jedi Order, but also figure out what to do with her unnaturally long life.
