As a Beta-Reader, I look for spelling and grammar mistakes. I can also help with Historical information, and Medical Terms that you might use in your written works. If you run into a writers block, I can also help with giving you an idea or subject matter to use. I respect a writer's choice of where or how they want their stories to go. So I try find out what it is that a writer wants to convey in the stories.

I am good with Spelling and Grammar. However, I am human and mistakes do happen. When I come across things I don't know, I research them so that I gain the knowledge of who, what, where, when, and how of the topic.

I sometimes take too much time in the proofreading process. I have a tendency to proofread a chapter, then wait a day before looking at it again.

I don't really have a preference. I love seeing stories having multiple different genre's in them.

I have a hard time working with stories where there is no plot or substance to it. However, I am always willing to try and help. On another note, if your story has people staying in an abusive relationship with someone, then I suggest you go elsewhere. I've been in that situation and will never want to place a person, real or fictional, into that.
