I absolutely love your story! I do hope you someday continue it, and would love to read more! But I enjoyed it as it was too, and it came to a good place to pause with this chapter.

I thoroughly enjoyed being engrossed in this world. I think you have done an exemplary job at capturing the characters, and your dedication to your research of the time period is apparent. It all makes for a wonderful story. I love the way that you’ve helped Darcy blossom into such a doting husband, and it’s no different from the way I imagined he would be in my read throughs of P&P. This was such a well written fanfic... you said in the beginning it had done many times... but your twist was unique and well done... thanks for sharing!

I agree with you, all versions of this plot lack something. Many paint Mr Darcy in quite a bad light as well and even make him cruel when he is supposed to be at the core a good person and Elizabeth intelligent and not as childish as portrayed in most fics these type. I have only read chapter 1 so far but found it so promising that I had to leave a review.

Wow. It's the third fanfiction about Pride and Prejudices I've read in English since two weeks, and for quite a long time before that, and I am not at all disappointed. True, it's easier for me to read in French. However, the way you think and you write is amazing. You exploited a common "what if", if you allow me to say so, but your story has never fell into clichés. It was really a pleasure to read you and to look forward to reading and imagining what would happen next between one of my favorites fictionnal couples and you gave them a new and fresh breath. I really look forward to reading the next part!
