Whoa that gave me anxiety lol, but it was good! I was glad to see Veirra drop a lot of the self pity and the nobody will ever wabt me thing shortly after my last review. Good story!

I really like this story and Veirra is a badass, but shes also kind of really annoying at some points. Im only on ch23 rn but hopefully shes not annoying forever. I get where shes coming from though, as a victim of sexual assault myself i get the lack of self worth and all that its just a bit eye roll inducing after a while i guess. Sorry I hope I didnt offend you, that was not my intent I just wanted to express my opinion is all.

Very good story. I love the ending although I agree it was a little short. However, your idea about another story where Thorin searched for her after she left is intriguing too. That would be interesting to read. I had thought Thorin and Vierra needed some time out in the wilds to fight it out and pound some sense into each other's heads.

Bard was King of Dale and the lands that surrounded it (not merely Lord of Dale as his ancestor Girion was).
