I been looking for a fic where Luke meet anakin from the past I honestly love this fic3

This subplot about Anakin not knowing who Luke is is painful to read, blatantly contrived for the sake of plot at the expense of all logic and is honestly insulting to my intelligence. Anakin is literally retarded in this story.

Luke didn't need DNA evidence to accept that Vader was his father, he just trusted his feelings (ie used the Force) and eventually asked Yoda for confirmation to what he already believed to be true. Anakin straight up saw a vision(!) of Luke and Vader talking, has been around and talked to Luke enough to infer even more hints and clues about him, Darth Vader spelled it out for him in the most obvious way possible... ...and if all of that weren't enough there's no conceivable reason why they couldn't have been able to run a familial comparison scan on the blood they already had from Luke's initial hospital visit at the very beginning of the story.

For that matter honestly Obi-Wan and Yoda (especially Yoda I totally thought he had it figured out when he talked to Luke but apparently not) are dumb too. Maybe, just maybe, there's a reason why Luke thinks of Obi-Wan as "Ben".

And in a way I kinda feel like Luke is getting dumber too. At first he was indecisive and wary because he was in an unfamiliar and logically impossible place and he went with Vader because Vader was familiar (and if nothing else Vader is very much interested in keeping Luke alive and out of the hands of the PT people) and because he accepted that Vader was a better bet for getting back home. At this point you gotta ask, has Luke given up on going back home and on the Rebellion? Why did he stay behind if he wasn't going to tell the Jedi anything (did he REALLY think for one second that he could just stay there and keep everything to himself)?

I don't expect any of this to be rewritten, given how long this story already is and how early into the story this is but I just have to say that these characters are carrying the idiot ball something hardcore.

It's okay by me. I just wish you could write a small summary of the story until the point you change it.
I can't wait to read your new idea for the story! :D

I'd say adding on these 14 chapters to the end would be confusing and not a good idea. I don't think keeping them in this story is a good idea overall.

I think the best solution is to create a new story and add the label - Old - IN the Past

After doing so there are two options. Add all 87 chapters and mention in chapter one that chapters 74-87 are the only different ones.

Or add only Chapters 74-87 and mention that these are the old versions before they were rewritten.

Ok, I take back my earlier review. I’m glad you kept Ahsoka alive.

Yeah... not so happy that you used Ahsoka for the catalyst to turn Anakin. I understand there have to be stakes, but it just feels... wrong.

Just glad you didn't abandon it and, agreed, felt the story was taking a different direction. Of course, it's your story but it had a strong Vader, Luke, Anakin feeling but then the story seemed to lose which character it wanted to focus on...Vader came less and less and then I wasn't sure how you could pull Anakin back from the Dark. So, interested to see what the rewrite will bring.

I totally support you! Do what you need to do, as story is most important and this is one of my favourites. Follow your instincts. I understand these are troubling times on so many levels for so many people. We shall do our best to navigate all this and keep a healthy mindset throughout all of these challenges, though it proves very difficult at times. Do what you have to to stay healthy mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually . . . and I can't wait for new chapters! This is a fantastic story and we will wait with baited breath.
