This is *awesome*. Man, if things had been just a ilittle/i different in canon, it could have been Tyrion teaching Sansa how to play the game of thrones, and she would have been saved months and years of torture and regret.

I really like that you don't shy away from the fact that Tyrion's upbringing and the culture in which he lives both lead him to feel that fucking a 14-year-old (13 in the books, I believe) is a viable thing that could ever happen if circumstances were right and not the child rape that it would most definitely be. To some degree he is a man of his time, and it's the fact that he fights that in himself, that he actively practises empathy and curiosity about the minds of other people even when it's dangerous to do so, that makes him a compelling character.

I like, too, that you portray Sansa as very much a 14-year-old girl. She's having to learn the facts and the rules of a dangerous and largely unspoken adult world very quickly in order to avoid being tortured or executed, and her interests and tastes and values are changing in pace with that. She's a human in a state of flux-a girl one moment and an adult woman the next. Watching her personality and Tyrion's bounce off of each other is like watching them juggling chainsaws: breathtaking and delightful and dear god one hopes it doesn't end in disaster.

I gather from the publishing date that you are not planning to continue writing this fic, so I wanted to say thanks for sharing this, and nicely done.

This is such an interesting story, you can't possibly leave it unfinished, especially now after what happened in the last chapter. please, please continue.
