Author has written 4 stories for Song of the Lioness, Anne of Green Gables series, and Naruto. Let there be love... Just a little about me: I love reading. I love budgies and looking at scenery and sketching and dreaming and laughing and music and sleeping in and chocolate and hugs and proper grammar and clothes and people and kindness and being random and life and a lot of other things (including run-on sentences) . I love to write, though I'm still learning how. thanks for dropping in... I like to keep things in perspective, I think that if everyone did this more, there would be less depressed people. Who knows? Favourite foods: my mum's lasagne and every flavour of ice-cream (who doesn't love ice-cream?) Favourite books: There are many... the Harry Potter series. I also love Tamora Pierce, Lord of the Rings, Artemis Fowl, the Bartimaeus Trilogy, Oscar Wilde, I Capture the Castle, The Messenger (Markus Zusak), Lés Miserables (Victor Hugo), To Kill a Mockingbird, and many others, even some Twilight. By the way, for those who were disappointed in Breaking Dawn: sign this- http:///BDFailed/ Favourite movie: LotR is the best movie series in my opinion. Don't put it off." - someone who knew people like me - "Imagination is more important than knowledge." - Albert Einstein - "Women are meant to be loved, not understood. - Oscar Wilde - "Be who you are and say what you mean, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. - Dr. Seuss - "Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." - "Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind." - Bertrand Russell -"Credulous hope supports our life, and always says that tomorrow will be better." - Tibullus -"Life is for those who love to live it, and love is for those who ask. Don't plan your future by what you covet, don't worry about the past." --Signature quote from: free-hug-king -"Things happen, and sometimes you can't control them. Whether or not they're a mistake is up to you. They're what make us human, but what we decide is a mistake or not defines who we are." --The Camera Guy -"Perfect humility dispenses with modesty." --C.S. Lewis -"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." --Jimi Hendrix -"Life is Pleasant, Death is Peaceful, It's the Transition that's Troublesome." --Signature quote from: Lord-Aradon -'People who pray for miracles usually don't get miracles...But people who pray for courage, for strength to bear the unbearable, for the grace to remember what they have left instead of what they have lost, very often find their prayers answered. Their prayers helped them tap hidden reserves of faith and courage that were not available to them before.' -- Harold S. Kushner -"Happiness can exist only in acceptance." - Denis DeRougamont -"Peace, in the sense of absence of war, is of little value to someone who is dying of hunger or cold. Peace can only last where human rights are respected, where people are fed, and where individuals and nations are free." - The 14th Dalai Lama (how come everyone knows the pope's name, but no one the dalai lama's?) -'An eye for an eye, and the whole world would be blind.' - K. Gibran -'Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes and impact are truly endless.' -- Mother Theresa 'The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater. -Haldir from Lord of the Rings Faith is like a floor. If you don't work at making it for yourself, you have nothing to walk on. -- Gregory Maguire, Mirror, Mirror "What one wants in the person one lives with is that they should keep one at one's best." - The Voyage Out by Virginia Woolf (it's a bit of a tongue twister, but it's true we want those around us to bring out the best in us) and I wanted to share this poem I found with you- Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am in a thousand winds that blow, I am the softly falling snow. I am the gentle showers of rain, I am the fields of ripening grain. I am in the morning hush, I am in the graceful rush Of beautiful birds in circling flight, I am the starshine of the night. I am in the flowers that bloom, I am in a quiet room. I am in the birds that sing, I am in each lovely thing. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there. I do not die. "Being ignorant is not so much a shame, as being unwilling to learn." “Who, being loved, is poor?”- Oscar Wilde “If you are not too long, I will wait here for you all my life.” ~Oscar Wilde "Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." — Oscar Wilde ~The fears that live inside of us, whatever they are, and however they manifest, prevent us from living our highest potential, as individuals, and as contributors to the human race. If we consciously and vigilantly transmute those fears through compassion for others, and for ourselves, we will know what it is to live a peaceful existence on this planet.~ Gillian Anderson "If you would not be forgotten, as soon as you are dead and rotten, either write things worth reading, or do things worth the writing."~ Benjamin Franklin ~It's very tempting when you really want to be with someone to settle for much, much less -- even a vague, pathetic facsimile of less -- than you would have ever imagined. Ladies, please, keep your eye on the prize. Remember always what you set out to get, and please don't settle for less. If you can't do it for you, do it for everyone else: These bad guys are able to exist because there are a lot of women out there who allow them to.~ The only real prison is fear, and the only real freedom is freedom from fear.- Aung San Suu Kyi "The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return" Toulouse ~Moulin Rouge No one should die because they cannot afford health care, and no one should go broke because they get sick. If you agree, please post this in all your social networking accounts. ~Sometimes on the way to a dream you get lost and find a better one."~ Now... I think I've bored you with my profile long enough. I've sort of taken a long hiatus from writing, since I really don't like my stuff and need new inspiration and time. And I'd much rather be reviewing the wonderful stories some people have up. But I do want to get back and improve my writing. ~someday it will happen. Everything is going to be alright.~ |
