Rock is Lee’s first name but they say their last names unless they know multiple people with that last name so it would be Jou Lee

I usually try to avoid incomplete stories that have many chapters. If it’s good, i know I’m gonna be drawn in and be left disappointed that the story has no ending. Even so, I’ve been tempting to read this story for years cause I’ve been seeing it on multiple favourites’ list so knew it must be good. Finally caved in and binge read the whole thing. Honestly, I really enjoyed it. The premise was refreshing. Definitely different that the usual nejiten clichés I found. Really wish you find the motivation to continue this. Really wanted to read about when Neji confronts Tenten about her identity. Just that with every chapter, you’ve been building up moments so now, after reading, I’m just left dissatisfied. Will add this to my list though in case you ever do update and when that time comes, I will reread the whole story again and leave you a nice review.

I cannot believe I managed to find this again! I read it a couple years ago, and I have to say...for someone who bluntly rejects any sort of AU, this one REALLY pulled me in. It was captivating, original, something you can't find anywhere else. You also gave depth to all characters and made me care for them. From their apparent platitude, they all started showing their true colours and grew on me step by step.

Sakura as a young female doctor who constantly needs to prove herself, and wears red dresses? Tenten as an aspiring painter? Ino who secretly did everything in her power to protect her husband with an iron-clad loyalty? GENIUS. just...genius

Thanks so much for writing this story. I still hope that one day maybe...just maybe you'll come back to finish it. But for how much we did get, thank you!

I just finished reading all of this and lol I started yesterday. This is actually such a work of art like I opened the link to this thinkin it would only be some NejiTen stuff BUT LIKE ALL OF THESE OTHER PLOTS AND ALL OF THESE CONNECTIONS OMG THIS IS SO WELL THOUGHT OUT. But see when i saw that your last update was in 2014 :') i really do hope you continue ESPECIALLY BC NEJI JUST FOUND OUT MANNNNNNN I WAS ANTICIPATIN THIS CONFRONTATION SINCE CHAPTER 1 I love this and I hope you see this review and you're an amazing writer :)))

I thought this was supposed to be a Ten ten AND Neji fan ficm!

I am just so solidly impressed at how you develop not only the characters but their relationships. Each is so beautifully flawed and I feel so invested in every one of them. For example, I've never been very attached to Sai, and there were moments in this story that I truly wished he would get into something unfortunate, but now, as he is, striving to be someone better-I ended up learning something personal from him. And Shikamaru and Ino break my heart. For a very long time I honestly resented him but reading from his point of view, I couldn't, not when both of them were hurting so deeply. I'm pulling for them, I'm hoping for them because their endurance speaks of a devotion known only in love. I also love the confliction in Neji because you explore it so thoroughly while at the same time pointing out the flaws in Tenten. There is a problem in the system in which they are raised and you express it so expertly, and from both sides at that! Then there is Gaara, he was always going to be a complex man but his story with Jou captures the imagination. I don't know your plans for them but they tug at my heart. There is a remarkable innocence and purity to their involvement that is a bit of fresh air in the story.

I particularly admire how you straddle the line between ruthlessness and humanity in every one of the cast members. You perfectly underscore how insular a person can be even while they participate and affect the wider world and society. This actually brings me to another thing, your world building and plot. Simply put, you are one of those writers that raises the bar for everyone on this site. Readers and authors alike.

I just, I end up ranting and railing, I laugh, I smirk, I cry... Your story brings out so many emotions in me. It seems a little plain to say for all that your story gives me but I am sincerely looking forward to your next installment.

My memory has been getting fuzzy of the previous chapters, but it's still exciting to watch your story unfold. Looking forward to the next chapter. :)
