This is a beautifully written, heart breaking and emotional story. I can't tell you how much I cried while reading this. While I will always love Chuck and Blairs relationship, by the second chapter I was deeply in love with the bittersweet remembrance of little Ilsa Cordelia Bass-Waldorf and your heart- rendering and impassioned writing. I've read loads of great and emotional fan fictions but this is and will remain one that will stick with me. Your style of writing feels so connected to true emotion (and likely is) that it creates an unparalleled impact on the reader. As someone who has experienced a similar tragedy, losing a sibling and having to watch as my parents slowly broke, I can honestly do nothing other than applaud the raw emotion you've portrayed. It's even more inspiring that it's written in the view of a young child.

My goodness, this was breathtaking to read! I don't even know where to begin. I'm completely and utterly speechless. The flow was perfect and you had me clinging on to every single word, especially Ilsa's. Thank you for making me tear up! Simply spectacular x

It's usually hit or miss sometimes with new characters in a story but you hit a home run. Thanks again for this, its years since you wrote it and I'm happy I was able to read and enjoy this!

Ilsa and Prince Albert are delightful to read about, I loved their conversations and Ilsa's memories of her family. I laughed so much when the girl had thought that her mother such a wonderful nurse that she even had the uniform in her closet.
I would like Blair to have her own career, it suits her better than being a socialite in Chuck's shadow. I didn't get why if Blair is Waldorf-Bass, their children are Bass-Waldorfs in all your future fics?
Also would be good to know more of Ilsa and Paxton story, how it went from that kiss to the wedding.

I loved this story. The characters were very believable and the writing was amazing. I love how the journal entries were written with many words of wisdom. This story is one of my absolute favorites. You are definitely my favorite gossip girl / chuck and Blair author.
