Hello!

First things first: why is my name Princessbertha? Well, this account was originally created so that my friend and I could share our twisted LotR fic with the world. We basically thought 'Princess Bertha' was the greatest name ever, so hence this account. That was back in my sophomore year of high school, when I was 15... about ten years ago.

Now, I'm in my midtwenties, a law student, with absolutely no free time, hence the absolutely disgraceful lack of updating for the last several years.

Feel free to email me on ff.net--or at my gmail account, but I almost never check that so... and again, thank you to everyone who has reviewed over the years.

Lastly: I'm very happy that so many people liked my portrayal of Miss Clearwater. I love her as a character and I didn't like how things ended up for her in BD, especially when everyone else got a perfect ending. I think the emotional consequences of losing her father were ignored in favor of drama with Sam and that her sudden acceptance of Sam and Emily was unrealistic, considering how much her hatred of him had been built up. Also, her cruelness to the other pack members, especially to Embry, was never really explained convincingly. In the world of fanfiction, before I wrote Endless Daylight it seemed that most other fans wrote about her as a catty harpy or a troubled teen who would stop at no length to hurt Sam. There seemed to be a general theme of self-harm and addiction.

So, that's why I wrote Endless Daylight and later Red Sky and Morning, and thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who has read them, who has reviewed them, who has translated them into French, who has reviewed them on podcasts and who has added them to lists.

tl;dr? Maybe one day I'll update the one I've started and haven't finished, maybe one day I'll post a new one. I just really, really like writing parody fanfiction and sometimes serious feminist responses to Twilight. So there you have it.
