I reread this story every couple of months, and I swear it just keep me getting better with age. I’m dying to know what happens to Genma, and to see Shikamaru’s progression in his training. Please continue to update when time allows!

I know it's been such a while since you've updated this but this is such an amazing fic! I really like how you describe the methods of interrogations, it's so detailed that you can actually imagine it happening and with how well you portrayed the characters, it's like an actual episode from the series but in WRITING! Reading each chapter, the suspense is killing me to know what happens next. I just can't stop reading this. It's just so, so good and I hope, someday, you'll update this x3

I’ve reread this chapter a dozen times and I’m still confused as to who is Ino in this scene. I thought it was Shika but the part that says “ Then that was Kakashi asking the questions”. I’ve been following this story for a couple years now. Definitely one of my faves. But before I can die happily I have to know the answer to that question!

This story is so amazing. I first read it years and years ago, and much to my pleasant surprise when I came back to reread it you'd added a bunch of new chapters! Some parts are hard to even read, but only because you build the tension so flawlessly. It's fascinating to examine the more theoretical and worldbuilding aspects of torture in Naruto (something so few people do which is surprising considering Konoha has a Torture & Interrogation division!), and it's just as captivating to watch it play out in Shikamaru's training and now in this mission. The characters are great, the story is great, it's all just great. I really hope you come back to this story again soon, I'm on the edge of my seat with this mystery!

oh my god, that was insane! That was so well done, I think i actually gasped! I can't believe kakashi broke both her legs just like that, i thought for sure he'd be stopped or only break one but that was brutal! and so well written, amazing job! can't wait for the next chapter :)

so much for security and having your guard always up... ah, Genma?! lol Now Ino can kick his ass while saving his ass, I has been so rude with her, that now he is going to have to bite his tounge. I actually like that from all of them, Ino is the only one who has been true to herself... and I like that she keeps checking Shikamaru too. She always was the greatest of them three, the truest friend.
