Aw, God damnit. I keep stumbling upon amaaaazing fics when I don't really have time to read them. I still do though. Then I have to pull an all-nighter just to get school stuff done. -.-

Love how you tell the story through the different kunoichi, and flesh their characters and histories out at the same time the story progresses. Nice that you included hints of Shika/Tema in the form of letters, that was a nice tough. Kitty-sama was cute, too. Love how Temari and Kankuro got a second chance to give a kid a better childhood. Wonder how Kurenai would react to Temari taking care of her daughter? Or if she would somehow ever find closure with Asuma?

I am guessing that the narrator's mantle would've been taken up by Tsunade for the story in Konoha, and Hinata to round up the search in Suna. (Would've liked to see a bit more NejiTen, that's for sure!)

An apt title for the series.. I clicked on it to browse, and ended up captivated. :)

Oh my God. Moooaaar! This is brilliant. The characters are fleshed out so real, and so unexpectedly true. They all seem so right. The storyline is fantastic and harsh and bittersweet, but its so good. It hurts to read, its madness. I was expecting this. I don't know what I was expecting, but its so different from all the others that are... similar to it. Usually the kunoichi are never connected, they're never sharing the same story, but here its more than just some bio, or evolution piece. It feels so raw and every character has grown out and up in a way that's believable. I love this. And I will wait til the end of my life until you finish publishing this because its so fantastically good and hard.

I want this continued so badly. All the romance and action and damn brilliant plot twists! Please please please update when possible!

Oh wow, this is an amazing series of "one-shots" (sorta) that are actually connected and have a plot. he characters are beautifully written and it's gorgeous really.

Touching and all...but it really isn't my genre.

I was really happy that you chose to use Kurenai for the first chapter. She's probably one of the most neglected kunoichi and she is so much more than just Asuma's lover. Aside from that, this chapter was very touching.

'You can never be forgiven by a dead man'. I'm not certain why, but that line really struck me. Even though this chapter diverges from canon, I loved it and the way Kurenai deals with the guilt of all that has transpired.

Even though it's short, your prologue is very, very well written. I especially love the first and last sentences and the way that the prose is descriptive without being overdone. It doesn't outright state what she did or what has happened and I like that very much. I really feel sorry for Tenten and Neji's reaction to her actions was beautiful. Anyways, I really like the idea of a kunoichi-centric story. They need the love!

Your characterization are very,very good.

You took Shizune and made her a character I'd actually root for.

You made Kankurou nice but did remember not to file off all his edges.

You wrote only the second Shika/Temari relationship I've read and you did it as part of the background to a whole different story!

If I had a nit to pick,it would be how Ino managed to take successive seduction missions without going back to Konoha for a psych would think that a village of assassins would have psych evaluations of those operatives to detect and prevent burnout,which is the what Ino seemed to be teetering on the brink of.

I do hope you finish this fic.

I need to go read the rest of your stories.
