That was beautiful. I loved the way you portrayed Luna/ Dean and stuck to Canon at the same time!

Since a few days, I'm thinking about writing on Dean and Luna, because this pairing is really interesting, especially when you know they've passed a few weeks together, locked in a cellar before staying on Shell Cottage. There's a lot to say about them, so many possibily... So this morning, in order to get some inspiration, I went on the english fandom (cuz basically i'm french, and unfortunatly there are no many fic about Dean and Luna on the french fandom) and I saw your fic and... wow.

I read it and I found it really beautiful, very well written and deeply touching. I almost cried at the end. Seriously, it's amazing how you have portrayed Dean and Luna. Especially Luna because she is... well, Luna, I figure it's not easy to write on her and you made it perfectly. Plus she's so adorable with Dean, they're so natural together... Yeah, I really loved reading your story.

And I was wondering, would you agree that I translate it ? I would be very glad to share your fic with other french people. I confess i'm not very comfortable when I have to speak or write in english (as if all my vocabulary suddenly disappeared), but I'm not so bad in comprehension. Think I could do a good job. I really hope that you will be ok, but if not, don't worry, I will understand. Guess I just would have to write my own story :)

It is so sad but I love how you let Luna live her life fully while still allowing herself to remember the past.

It was beautiful. Luna is exactly as I imagined her, and it's the first time I read something about Dean. I had forgotten lots of things about him, and I realize how interesting he is. I think it's a tremendous idea to create a love story with these people and at this moment. When I think of it, those weeks are kind of strange, poetic almost. It must have been staggering for both of them. I'm sorry, what I am writing is absolutely not clear. But I'm French and I really enjoyed "Vita perseverat" so I don't really know how to explain it, with my bad English and the light sadness I just felt because of the beautiful end of the text (Dean's death). It was wonderful, Thank you very much.

This was wonderful! I really thought Luna and Dean fell in love at Shell Cottage and was slightly disappointed when she married Rolf. This is a devastating way to put them together. I thought both Dean and Luna sounded perfectly in-character. I never thought about how awkward it might have been for Dean to stay with Bill and Fluer. Great story, I'm off to read the rest of your fics!

I was going to say, it's a weird sort of marriage which celebrates a ritual like that, but then, Luna's marriage was always going to be a weird one :) And I like the structure of the fic, the way the pensieve nicely frames scene-jumping. Personally I have drifted between Neville/Luna and, more recently, George/Luna, but I fluctuate with minor pairings and Dean is a sweetie, always has been. So I enjoyed this fic too :D And it was very sad :'(

So, as I crawl through your plethora of writing, I have to admire how you not only flesh out characters, both minor and main, appeal to the readers' emotions, have a beautiful (BEAUTIFUL) style, but also how you incorporate really deep meaningful words that can help and encourage others. The whole thing about vita perseverat was really enlightening and encouraging, and although Luna was the one who taught Dean about that whole idea, Dean was the one who gently reminded and encouraged her while he was dying and she was doubting. I love how you weren't afraid to show Luna's flaws and fears, as unique as she is. And the whole thing about being grateful to your first love-wow. You mentioned how Luna and her husband (Rolf Scamander, I think that's what good ol' J.K. called him) really understood and loved each other, which was awesome, because a lot of writers, while acknowledging that most people don't marry their first love, portray as the second/third/whatever love is not as important or as meaningful to the protagonist as the first, nor can the protagonist love the second/third/whatever love as much as the first. I think everyone has problems with moving on, and to show that it is possible to have a new relationship after the first one dissolves is pretty important. Even though Luna's husband only took up about three sentences, you still managed to portray him as a man who is good for her.

Wow, this is so beautiful. I love Dean x Luna, and wished they could have been together forever, but you managed to write them into canon with the ending set for Luna yet still keeping the sweetness of a possible romance. It's so believable... I BELIEVE! Thank you for giving me this lovely, lovely story to read. :) Their scenes were so tender and sweet and touching together.

That was... almost heartbreaking.

I need some of that my fics; most of the romance ones are just fluff...
