This is truly wonderful. I read it a few weeks ago after seeing it on someone's rec list, and just re-read it tonight. You've captured all the best parts of Damon and Elena perfectly, and I'm particularly impressed with your Damon voice, which is so distinctive on the show but is so frequently botched in fanfiction.
