The day of silence is the annual day of action to protest the bullying and

harassment of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) students.

Because I like M-Preg(oranges) so much I always apreciate it when others put forth the effort to make the pregnancies as realistic as possible. I find it unbairably annoying when writers don't even try to give good reasons behing the pregnancy. I love it when they place a twist on it as to why it happened and how it's possible. I don't like it when it's only half assed though. Something else that bothers me is when they rush through the pregnancy and don't make any notation of the passing of time or simptoms that are experianced during pregnancy. I also do not think it exceptable to just play it off that everyone just excepts the fact that a guy got pregnant. I want it to be (on occasion) questioned why it happened and why it's possible, even why it wasn't discovered at a prior date. Like I said before I want a reason, a good reason. So...

To all aspiring orange writters I present the following information. (You can use them as guid lines)

Signs to look for that may indicate if one is pregnant

1. Constant fatigue 6. Moodiness

2. Morning sickness 7. Heartburn

3. Missed piriod 8. Backaches

4. Frequent urination 9. Trouble sleeping

5. Feeling dizzy 10. Tender breasts

Important warning signs during the pregnancy

1. Severe or persistant headaches

2. Blurred vision or spots

3. Severe abdominal pain or cramps, perhaps with nausea or diarrhea

4. Severe or persistant vomiting

5. Severe unexplained pain in the shoulder

6. High fever (above 101 degrese)

7. Marked swelling in upper body (face or hands)

8. Bleeding

9. Gush or flow of watery fluid from vagina

10. Marked decrease in output of urine

11. regular contractions, getting tronger as time progresses

12. marked decrease or stopping of fetal movement you feel (from five months on)

Notes on months 1-9

1st Month- Characteristics are already determined.

2nd M.- As the embryo grows longer the brain, limbs, and heart begin to form.

3rd M.- Tiny arms and legs are long enough to bend, and bones and muscles are starting to grow.

4th M.- The baby looks undeniably human, and its sex is identifyable. Hair begins to grow on the baby's body.

5th M.- For the first time you can feel movement, called quickening, as the baby floats and tumbles in the amniotic fluid. Fitness during pregnancy means knowing how to relax muscles and streatch them.

6th M.- The baby is a new born in miniature. As bones get haeder you may be able to detect an arm or leg when the baby moves. It's time to start child birth classes.

7th M.- As sight and hearing develope, the baby reacts to changes in light around you, and recognizes the sound of your voice. Smaller meals, more fiber, and plenty of water can help you feel better.

8th M.- The baby is growing rapidly and may have regular daily periods of rest and activity.

9th M.- The baby is filling out and may settle into the head-down position for delivery. Use whatever comfort measures and techniques you can and trust your body's ability to give birth.

The baby is born.

.Nausia afflicts 3 out of 4 pregnant woman in the first trimester. Try eating saltines before you get out of bed in the morning, and 5 small meals a day instesd of 3 big ones. Don't worry if you naturaly do not eat a lot, this will not hurt the baby.

Before any conclusions are jumpd to, I just wish to say that 'No' I have never had any personal experiance with pregnancy. To be totaly honest the idea of myself becoming a parent at any time in the next five or so years really quite frankly freaks me out a bit. Yet, I have a huge interest in learnig about pregnancy and parenting. I assume this to be because I wish to scycologicaly prepair myself for such things befor they happen.
