A/N: THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL UPDATE!

As of Jan. 6, 2014, I've noticed FF is currently having huge issues for the past two days on showing updates on stories as well as newly published stories (including the damn recurrent error 1 T.T ). This impeded me from updating my current stories (Broken pieces and My Lord, My captor). I'm doing a TEST RUN right now by updating this finished story with an unfinished chapter continuation from about a year ago which I decided to discontinue.
If you see (or don't see) this update, most likely I will be deleting this chapter within 24-72 hours.
D: Hopefully they fix the problem soon.

10 years later…

"You disgusting half breed."

Inuyasha lowered himself to meet the child's eye and glared at him, eyes narrowed. "And what does that make you?!"

The child huffed indignantly. "I maybe a half breed as well, but father says I am different and special because father is the most powerful demon in the world."

His uncle observed him closely. Pompous child. Just like… his brother. Those demonic markings, the purple moon crest on his forehead and the magenta demonic markings. But one thing… actually TWO things set them apart… And Inuyasha GRABBED them.

"I don't know what Sesshomaru had been telling you, but I see nothing different and special about these fluffy ears of yours." Squeeze!

"HEY! Let go! Father will hear about this!" He then proceeded to bite his hand off.

"Ouch!" He released him and was about to give him and good thunk on the head, when Rin entered the hut.

"What did I tell you about biting and name-calling, Kaname?"

The boy turned to look at his mother guiltily. "But…" He started.

"No buts young man! Now go outside and watch your sister. She's with Aiko and Yashihiro."

Mumbling to himself, Kaname walked out grudgingly.

Inuyasha grinned while Rin shook her head in disapproval of her son's behavior. "Sorry about that. He can be a bit… arrogant." She sat in front of him while tying her long dark hair into a bun. Her elegant red kimono pooled around her. Her back straight and poised, she smiled at him sheepishly.

Inuyasha blinked. It's been ten years since Rin was changed, but he still could not get used to the fact that she was no longer a human.
