"I'm Nitori Aiichirou!" the boy introduced himself cheerily. The redhead wasn't sure what to think about this newcomer, since it was barely breaching seven and he was already this enthusiastic. Not many people he knew would be this happy so early in the morning, and the ones he did know were a little unscrewed in the head.

Rei was in the middle of drinking his beverage when Haruka appeared in front of the table suddenly and silently, as he was apt to do. His bright blue eyes swept over Rei once, and the end of his fluffy tail twitched very slightly. In a completely flat and disinterested tone, he said, "Nagisa's in heat."

Rei laced their fingers together firmly. The taller boy's hands were so much bigger than his. The warm lotion between their hands felt mildly gross at first, but once Rei began to roll his fingers and palms against his, the feeling changed completely.

Before, Aiichirou would have never thought that Rin, who always looked so severe and frightening, was capable of doing such stupid and silly things too. Now, he knew better than that, but it didn't mean he didn't laugh every time Rin let his guard down and humored him in this way.

Bright eyes looked up at him from behind the door. Rei distinctly felt the shorter man's gaze drag up and down him thoroughly. He supposed this was what it was like to be "checked out." The man grinned at him.

"Hey, Rei-chan," he called out while fiddling with his pencil carelessly. "I think it'd be nice if you were more aggressive sometimes. I mean, it's not like you aren't ever aggressive or anything but, like…. You should be more aggressive when we have sex."

It's Makoto's birthday, and Nagisa knows he's been incredibly stressed out lately. As a result, Nagisa and Rei (but mostly Nagisa) decide to get a special present for him. It's not a conventional birthday present or stress-relief method by any means, but maybe it'll work out better than planned.

While Aiichirou scrambles around to get ready for a school trip, Rin sits around, watches him make a mess, and implicitly wonders if the kid's a lost cause when it comes to these things.

The two of them were able to understand each other. They noticed each other looking at their teammates with longing expressions which were more than enough proof of lingering affection. They would smile at each other then, knowingly and painfully, though they never said it aloud. "They don't like you back, do they?" But they understood even without the words.

Nagisa was the one who caught him off guard at first, having approached him so suddenly and insistently. Rei hadn't been prepared on many levels, and it took him a while to get used to the blond's rambunctious and happy-go-lucky attitude, but once he did, he knew his life was over and there was no mistaking it.

"Can you explain it one more time?" Rei's eyes followed the soft curls of hair which fell into Nagisa's face. His hand came up to push them back. "Explain what, Nagisa-kun?" Nagisa's eyebrows furrowed ever-so-slightly. He moved even closer. "You know," he said, eyelashes fluttering as he blinked. "About your asexuality thing."

"I've been wondering for a while," the taller boy said, his hand resting on the side of Nagisa's neck warmly, "but why are you always giggling when we kiss?" Nagisa tilted his and raised his eyebrows. He hummed as he thought about his answer. "I'unno. I guess it's because I'm so happy when I'm with Rei-chan?" he grinned.

Nagisa followed Rei everywhere, and Rei let him. Rei let him until he didn't, and Nagisa didn't know what to do.

Nagisa looked proudly over to Rei and lifted his head to let the scarf fall away from his nose and mouth. The grin he had on his face lasted for a second before he turned his head toward the sky and took in a deep breath. A particularly nippy breeze bypassed them. Nagisa drew his shoulders in again and shivered. Rei thought he looked like a penguin hunching over for warmth.

He knew something was up, because the blonde looked like he was just promised a lifetime supply of free strawberry shortcakes. Rei didn't have a good feeling about it, but he still cautiously ventured into Nagisa's trap.

When they first started dating, Rei had told Nagisa that he was asexual, which really confused him. Being a hormonally active boy himself, Nagisa couldn't quite wrap his mind around what Rei meant. The taller boy had tried so many times to explain to him and, while he got it, he didn't really get it.

Although he was usually brimming with what Rin considered useless energy, next to Nagisa, who had even more useless energy, Aiichirou was getting quickly overpowered by Nagisa's strong personality.

It wasn't until he couldn't breathe in anything but searing saltwater that he learned to fear. It wasn't supposed to be like this. The night had been so calm only minutes ago, so he couldn't understand why things had come to this point.

(I would like to pretend there's actually a plot that follows this story, but there isn't. It's just really kinky and explicit sex. I'm so sorry about this...)

"Ai, do you want kids?" he asked, heartbeat steady against Aiichirou's back.

"So," Makoto whispered under his breath, "was this what you expected when she invited us to a 'tea party?" he asked, a small smile on his lips.

No matter how cold he was with Aiichirou, the other boy never resented him. Even after he yelled at him and pushed him away, Aiichirou was only ever understanding and forgiving, and it hurt Rin so much. Regardless of what happened, Rin felt as if the younger boy was constantly putting Rin's happiness before his own. For once, he just wanted him to consider his own happiness first.

"Look, I've known Nagisa since we were young, and if it's someone who hasn't changed since then, it's that guy. The way you look at him is gross, and the way he looks at you makes me want to punch a wall and throw someone out a fifth floor window, alright?"

Bike riding was fun and relaxing. At least, it was fun and relaxing when he didn't have another 55 kilograms weighing down the back of his bike. It might have been alright if the additional weight remained still and didn't move, but this extra luggage was constantly swaying back and forth and bouncing around excitedly.

At first, Rei hated the way Nagisa kept hanging on him and pestering him. It annoyed him and made him uncomfortable because he was never the type of person who would physically touch someone unless he knew them very well. So when the blond kept tugging on his arm and clothing, tackling him from behind, and leaning against him, he was really upset. But then he got used to it.

It was part of his morning routine to wake Rin up. Usually, Aiichirou only had to call out to him once or twice before Rin sat up from his bed, looking like he was ready to burn the world down but today, he was refusing to even budge.

It wasn't supposed to end up like this. Rei was sure there were at least twenty-five better alternatives to this situation, but somehow, here he was.

Rin has to upkeep his image as the cool and collected senpai in front of Nitori, so, even if it kills him, he'll have to pretend that everything's okay, and that he doesn't feel like he'll enter a state of spontaneous combustion within the next two minutes.

Rin should have known. He wasn't stupid, so he should have known. But his selfishness and self-centeredness was his downfall, and now it's too late.

A few meters away from the edge of the pool sat a solitary figure. His ankles were crossed and his knees trapped against his elbows. The slender fingers of his right hand held fast onto the left sleeve of his jacket as his eyes followed the languid movements of his senpai. It had been hours since practice ended, but Rin and Nitori were still there.
