Author has written 38 stories for Harry Potter, Twilight, Supernatural, and Arrow. About Me: I am a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for travel. I also enjoy reading, writing, watching series and movies, learning and trying out new things, listening to and making music and spending time with friends and family. I love fantasy, science fiction, European history, bromances, poetry and human biology. I'm very picky about what I read and watch, and don't like graphic sex, foul language or soapies. I do like well thought-out and believable romances (which are secondary to a bigger, more interesting plot) bravery, nobility, suspense, leadership and I ADORE bromances. I don't read or write slash. As with most writers, I enjoy getting reviews. However, I will say this: if you have something nasty to say then at least have the cajones to sign in when you say it so that I can respond. Anonymous trolling is cowardly and immature and will be promptly deleted as it deserves. I hope you enjoy my stories:-D AWARDS FOR MY TWILIGHT STORIES A Golden Hearted Rose: 2nd in the Best 'Best Friend' Jacob category (Sort of Beautiful Challenge) The Sound of Heaven: Honourable Mention on the Fictionator's blog (When Love Was New Challenge) The Blues They Send: Judge's Award (Team SOB: Rain Scene Challenge) WHAT OTHERS HAVE SAID ABOUT MY STORIES Yesterday is But a Dream: The Lazy Yet Discerning Ficster Blog: Stretch: In "Yesterday is But a Dream" author SunnyZim lets Emily tell her story about the dreams she once had, and her struggle as she watched them die for the sake of Sam and the pack. It really calls into the focus how Emily tried to resist Sam's advances, and what eventually tore down her walls. The Sound of Heaven: The Fictionator's Blog: Diane: I loved the storyteller narrative. It felt as though the author and I were discussing a mutual friend or relative over coffee. Overall, I thought this was a well-crafted, well-rounded story that convinced me to revisit my reluctance to read certain types of fic. Shannon: I have to say that this author took something that I once questioned S. Meyer's sanity over and showed me HOW it could possibly work and be an absolutely beautiful story of love. This is perhaps one of the highest compliments I can give an author, because if they can break through something I found objectionable and make me love it, it speaks to their impressive writing ability. |
