Hi, I'm Kel! A long time ago I wrote LotR fics, and then some Doctor Who stuff. I've also tried my hand with Fullmetal Alchemist, and would love to write more for that. These days I mostly spend my time cleaning up the messes that video games leave behind. Because APPARENTLY All of our favorite characters can't stay alive for more than 2 seconds.

The Aftermath - Tomb Raider

Yet another video game epiloge! This time I didn't have to save anyone's life - this is a short scene by scene fic about Lara, Sam, Reyes, and Jonah escaping Yamatai that is almost entirely Lara dealing with her MASSIVE adrenaline crash and many debilitating injuries.

Try to Try Again - Life is Strange

By this point I have developed a series tendency to fix video game endings which result in death. So here's one more Everybody Lives! story, in an attempt to save both Chloe Price AND Arcadia Bay.

It's Dangerous to Go Alone - Bioshock

This story is my reaction to Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 2. Basically, there was a fantastic plot twist that I foresaw in the plot which never actually occurred. So I wrote it up myself. The story is a "fix-it" in that it attempts to achieve a happy ending for Bioshock, but more than that, it seeks to tie up the lose ends left by Episode 2 - and ties bioshock 2 into the mix as well!

Static - Mass Effect

I know this type of story has been done a LOT but this is my "fix-it" for Mass Effect 3 - basically it's one tiny change in plot, something that as a problem solver I see as a totally legitimate option, which provides a happier ending for the saddest game series ever.

There are two versions of this story, one with Liara and one with Garrus. Because I am indecisive. Read your favorite. Read both. They are basically the same.

EDIT: The Vakarian version is now the "official" version, and is now 1 chapter longer than the other. I'm sorry, Shiara fans :(

My Father's Masterpiece - Fullmetal Alchemist

Another story that's been done a LOT: Riza giving Roy the secrets of her father's research. This fic begins just after the grave-side scene from Brotherhood/manga (sorry I can't remember the chapter/episode numbers). Right now it covers only one afternoon/night, bu I hope to change pace and end up showing possibly a whole summer or a whole year. We'll see.

Soulbind- Fullmetal Alchemist

As it says on the tin, this story is a short scene that occurs directly before Minerva Aemilius' fic Soulbound (Here: http://www.fanfiction.ws/s/8521789/ ). Written and published by the author's permission.

Her Name is Elizabeth- Fullmetal Alchemist

This story is just me having some fun with my ideas about how Riza feels about being "Elizabeth" to the girls at Chris' bar, and how she met Chris for the first time. I'm not sure I like it very much, as I'm more inclined to think that the name "Elizabeth" came from Roy and Riza's childhood, and may have been her mother's name. But I couldn't resist writing this little two-shot. I may replace it someday with a young Royai fic about the name.

This is Gonna Sting- Fullmetal Alchemist

As the description says, this is a little "off camera" shot that occurs during chapter 38-39/episode 19 of FMA Manga/Brotherhood. It's the story of what happened in between the time when Lust "killed" Mustang and Mustang killed Lust.

Our Happily Ever After - Doctor Who

This story begins with a re-post of "Happily Ever After" from Not Domestic, and is a continuation of that story, covering Rose and TenToo's first days in Pete's World. I know that this story has been done a LOT but I wanted to tell my own version.

Unforgivable Sin - Doctor Who

Also entitled "It's Alright". A Doctor-wake-up-from-a-nightmare fic in which I endeavor to explore the Time War, and also the idea of forgiveness. This fic may prompt me to write more about the Time War, as I was planning for a while a fic called "The Moment" that would actually star the 8th Doctor as he meets his end.

Whatever Happens - Doctor Who

Formerly entitled "Nerves". A short, 4-chapter Doctor Who fic. Mid-series-2, Doctor/Rose (duh!). This is by far the most episode-like story I have written thus far. (even more than Gone Awry). Angst, hurt/comfort, action, even a bit of a thriller (not quite a horror). Less angst-y that TYtMHB, but much more than most of my other DW stuff. MUCH more action-y than all of them. - This is my favorite Doctor Who story I've ever written.

The Year that Might Have Been - Doctor Who

My first real Doctor Who chapter fic. Basically one big excuse for an EXTREME amount of Doctor whumpage and blatant torture. Loads of angst. NON-slash Dovtor-VS-Master. A bit of an AU "What-if" fic based on The Sound of Drums and the Last of the Time Lords. It started with the idea "What if the Master had not used the Lazarus technology age the Doctor and used other methods to weaken him?" Because a friend of mine didn't like Old!Doctor. The story is 27 chapters and around 50,000 words long.

Perfect - Doctor Who

Probably should have been posted as the next chapter to "Not Domestic" but it was waaaaaaay too long. But I couldn't bring myself to chop it up into chapters either. Anyway, I wasn't happy that the Girl in the Fireplace got to see inside the Doctor's mind and Rose Tyler didn't. I thought it would be very proper for it to happen once they were married, for them to really know each other in an extremely intimate way. T is for kissing (and for my own sappiness in writing this), but nothing more.

Allons-y! - Doctor Who

Did you know that won't take story titles with hyphens in them? Well, it won't... anyway, when I had this idea I was going to post it as the 5th chapter of Not Domestic, but when I finished it, I realized that although it was a 10.5/Rose fic, I could not bring myself to post it under any other description than one with the TARDIS listed as a main character. This is the story of 10.5's first encounter with his new TARDIS. And yes, I completely made up with a new-born TARDIS would be like - I looked for some cannon description and could find none. And yes, I realized that I posted a story that occurs on Christmas Eve on the 4th of July. Merry Christmas in July, y'all. I'll try to save a few X-mas fics for the actual holidays.

Just Sleep - Doctor Who

A fic inspired by this deviation: http:///favourites/43134693?offset=96#/d2jm1ng (I hope the link works). Which is basically me being happy with the beautiful love that the Doctor and Rose share in a more platonic than romantic way. More 10-Rose than 10/Rose, if that makes sense.

Gone Awry - Doctor Who

Basically my excuse for Doctor whumpage. I LOVE the Tenth doctor Duplicate/half-human Doctor - or as I call him, 10.5. And I wanted to play around with the differences and similarities he bears to his time-Lord self, and also with his relation to Rose and their adventures in their new TARDIS. Creating alien races is also pretty fun. I'm actually REALLY happy with this story, and I wish more people would read it :(

Not Domestic - Doctor Who

My ongoing series of non-chronological, semi-related one-shots about 10.5 ("John Noble Smith") and Rose Tyler's lives. Contains 6 stories at the moment:

"Tyler-Smith" (once again, that hyphens thing!): The Doctor is terrible at weddings. Especially his own. But for Rose, he'll try to make this one count.

"Happily Ever After" On Bad Wolf Bay right after the Tenth Doctor and TARDIS leave Rose and 10.5 behind, the pair discuss the Time Lord's actions and what their new lives mean.

"A Striking Resemblance" The Doctor is a huge Harry Potter fan, but he never really noticed Barty Crouch Jr.'s face before before - until now!

"Bananas and Pears" The half-human Doc. needs to test out his new taste buds FOR SCIENCE! And Rose tries to help.

"Not Only in My Dreams" The Doctor comforts Rose during the Christmas season. Married couple fluff!!

"Just a Dream" The Doctor is having nightmares that are all too real, luckily Rose is there to comfort him.

"Blessed and Beloved" The Doctor hates hospitals, but on occasion they could be a blessing. This was one of those times. This was the moment that would change his life forever.

"The Warmth of Winter" - Just a small fic I wrote on Christmas Eve. The Doctor has more of a family than he ever dreamed of. And it's wonderful. FLUFF!

"Teenage Dream" - This is a bit of an odd fic, inspired when I heard Boyce Avenue's version of a certain Katy Perry song. I'm not really a fan of the original song, but the "guy's version" I really like, and the image of the Doctor singing was too much to pass up.

No One Can Take Them Away - Harry Potter

My first Harry Potter fic! Very outside my normal genre. Full of what I am calling "married couple fluff". Just a scene I had an idea for one night and decided to jot down. Pretty much wrote itself. Hope you like it!

The Cure - Van Helsing

My first fic from the world of Van Helsing, complete with vampires and werewolves - My sister challenged me to make an alternate ending, because we thought it was weird that a werewolf bite killed Anna instead of making her a lycan. It inspired a huge fic that's the most original work I've ever done. as the A/N says, I've 8 chaps written and I'm not done yet, so be patient please!

Remember When - LotR

This is the saddest plot bunny ever to have bitten me. I was on YouTube and I found this song. Originally I was going to make a Aragorn and Arwen video to it, but then I thought of this, and I almost cried. One of my biggest goals with this story is to make SOMEONE cry.

Christmas for a King - LotR

Just a short, happy fic about Yule time in Gondor- a few years after RotK, when Eldarion is a young boy. This story, if you cant tell by reading it, had heavy- if not stolen- inspiration from both the true Christmas story(as in the Bible's account) AND the song "The Christmas Shoes" by Newsong ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNsvE33pRSw )

Here's to Many More - LotR

A short Christmas fic about Aragorn. I may add more chapters, so I left it "in progress". This is actually a second draft of the tale. The first time I tried writing it, the plot was VERY different (even though what I posted was my original plan, the first time, the story took over and wrote itself.) if you'd like to read my - VERY short - first try and this, PM me. I really loved both versions. I might eventually have to post the first try, I love it so much.

Defection - LotR

My first Legolas and Aragorn angsty fic on !- THIS is the kind of thing I write. This is a short story about a trip gone wrong. It does contain heavy reference to Cassia and Siobhan's "Traitor" and possibly other stories, but I hope you enjoy it.

This fic was nominated for the 2008 Best post-RotK fic in the MC awards!! YAY!!
