Awww. The ending of this is actually pretty cute though, even with the darker themes to their conversation. I think you're completely right about their outlooks on life. For all his angst, Roy is really a pretty optimistic person. And Riza is definitely a realist. I really enjoyed this story!

Okay, first off i have to say that your fanfic was reading my mind. In the beginning when you wrote "She made sure he ate properly and took care of himself." I was like, aw, whose a good lil' wife? DAMN that's sexist or something... "...that he needed a wife, little did he know that he had one.."

This was a BEAUTIFUL line, sums up Hawkeye so well. She deals with things through emotional surpression, which is extremely unhealthy. Most people don't see that, and I commend you for it.

This was also very like her- in the sense that she doesn't see what she's doing is unhealthy, since she believes that functioning now is what's important.
