ABOUT ME:

Update: 21st July, 2014. Just wanted to say hello to my readers and thank you for staying with me. After my last update I received quite a lot of supportive messages concerning my mental illness. A heartfelt thank you to you all. Things are still going well but I never take anything for granted. As promised I have been working on Envy's Slave, posting another 3 chapters so far. I'm working on another at the moment and will post as soon as my busy life will allow. I'm filling in for another Teacher Aide for the next four weeks so the weekends will be the only time I can write; provided my kids let me :D I'll do my best. Kind regards to all of you. xxx Em

Update: 24th January, 2014. Hello everyone. Long time I know but my life is finally back on track. The last half of 2012 was a bad time for me as I was hit by a terrible bout of depression which saw me in hospital for over 2 weeks and on a course of Electro Shock Therapy. Yes it was that bad. Thankfully due to wonderful medical support and the love of my family and friends I found my way back to the mostly happy person I used to be so by end of 2013 I can honestly say how grateful I am to be here. I am excited about 2014. I have good job prospects as a relief Teacher Aide and feel happy about where I am at the moment.

Followers of Envy's Slave, you will be pleased to know that I have taken up writing it again. Chapter Twelve is with a beta at the moment. I am hopeful that I'll be able to work on this again and will endeavour not to let you all wait so long between chapters.

I've also had a few emails in relation to the story Meeting the Parents. It was a one shot but I left it open in case the muse hit me again. So far it hasn't but please feel free to send me some ideas and perhaps something will take.

General stuff: Hello everyone, I found this site by accident and so glad I did. Never tried my hand at creative writing before but was so inspired by the clever authors on here that I thought I'd give it a go in my spare time. Not that I get much of that as my two boys aged 9 and 7 keep me very busy. We live in sunny Brisbane, Australia and I love getting outside with my laptop and letting my mind wander. My husband supports my hobby but loves to laugh at what he calls my Dr Who smut but its all good fun and it's definitely not the only sort of fic I write. I tend to write romance, humour, friendship, alternate universe and adventure fics with a hint of angst here and there. Most of my stories have nothing to do with canon so if that is what you are looking for you won't find it in my writing, well not very often anyway. I do apologise for the sometimes long gaps in posting multiple chapter stories. Real life tends to intrude especially with two young kids but I do my best to post when I can.

Never was a huge fan of the original Dr Who but am starting to watch and follow it a bit more. Totally fell in love with the new Dr Who. Not hard with Christopher in the role. Shame he only did one Season. Must be the leather jacket that made him so sexy. Having said that David is gorgeous and hell both would be welcome in my bedroom anytime.

Ninety nine percent of my stories are Doctor/Rose based. It could be Nine, Ten or human Ten but Rose is their soul mate. No one can convince me otherwise lol although I respect and love all the companions that came before and after Rose. My fics range from K through to M ratings so please take care to check said rating before you start to read as I would hate to cause embarrassment to any of my wonderful followers.
