Author has written 14 stories for Doctor Who. Hello, I'm doctorrosetyler! About me: There's not much to tell. I am an amateur fanfiction writer, as you can tell :) I'm not amazing at it, but I feel like I'm sufficient in getting my ideas onto paper. That's the main goal of the thing, anyway. TV shows: I love Doctor Who (clearly) and The Big Bang Theory. I also love House, but I don't really like to read or write fanfiction for that. The pairings? I love Rose/10 and Sheldon/Penny. I used to be obsessed with Inuyasha and wrote a couple stories. They were never very good, though. Books: I love Ernest Hemingway and Edgar Allen Poe. Since I am a grad student, I don't have much time to write, so if you want me to update and I haven't been on in like a month...sorry. Just chill. I'll try to finish stories before I post them, so I don't end up leaving people disappointed. (If people are reading my stuff anyway) Music: I basically love rock of any sort (but especially the metal kind). That's kinda it. I should really be doing homework right now... Right now I'm working on a sort of songfic thing. I try not to make them too cliche, but I get songs that really inspire me and I feel I should do credit to them by putting them in the stories. I'm going to stick to my rule of not posting anything until it's finished, but I'll put all of my songfics as one story, each song in chapter form. You all probably know by now that I'm not much of an angst fan. I like happy endings and fluffy scenes, and that's often what I write. I love stories where Rose gets to be with the Doctor forever, because they belong together. End of story. Hasn't he suffered enough for the universe? They are the stuff of legend, after all. I am also now on livejournal as drrosebadwolf. Feel free to friend me! Just a few updates on some new stories I have in motion:
Carnival of Discovery: A 13 chapter fic based strongly on the album Imaginaerum by Nightwish. It's not like my Music is the Inspiration fic, though. Each chapter is based on each of the songs in the album in order, but the lyrics will not be guiding the plot. The feel of the album is what is inspiring the story, as well as a few of the lyrics themselves. I can't help it. Once the Doctor and Rose entered Imaginaerum in my mind, they won't get out until they are on paper. Listen to the album, I encourage you. It is a fantastic musical journey. One on which our two favorite people will soon be embarking. |
