Freshly out of a very long hiatus from posting. If you look closely, most of the stuff I have posted here is quite old. No promises on the frequency of my newer postings, but I hope to return to posting more in the near future. My writing has evolved some, but the basic style remains the same. My primary inspiration remains my OTP, Roy Mustang/Riza Hawkeye from Fullmetal Alchemist.

Current fics:

She Don't Know She's Beautiful Complete -- Just a oneshot songfic. Cute Royai at a masquerade ball (I know, I know, not terribly original) My least favorite of the fics I have up. (And yet, one of the most popular...)

Daddy's Come Around Complete -- Another oneshot songfic. Royai drama post marriage. Not a particularly common plot once you read it. Certainly much better written than my first fic. I think it is a really nice oneshot.

In the Crosshairs Complete -- Yes, Royai, but not a oneshot or a songfic. This one has more action, but starts out with very little Royai. Basically a decently written Royai action fic with a new twist on them being stuck together out of the office.

Irony Complete -- A more serious Royai oneshot. Not angsty, but not lighthearted either. I think the writing's good, though.

Rites of Passage Complete -- Royai oneshot. I think it's a particularly funny and pretty well written. I like it.

One Challenge at a Time In Progress (Very, very slow progress) -- This is my first (and quite possibly last) Ouran fanfiction. It revolves around my favorite character, Kyoya. Serious writers block. HIATUS (due to a recent uptick in traffic and reviews, I am in search of further inspiration to continue this story - maybe, MAYBE I'll be able to bring it out of haitus soon - 6/27/3013

Reflections of the Background Ongoing, as they come to me -- This is a collection of little drabbles about Carlisle and Esme based on quotations from the Twilight series. I like what I have thus far, but I'm not working toward any point on this, so updates will be sporadic at best.

Types of Princess Complete -- Returning to the world of the posting writers with another Royai oneshot. This one features a future Riza and Roy with their daughter. Pure, unmitigated fluff.

Tentative future fics:

As of yet untitled -- A multi-chapter Zutara piece taking place a few years after the end of A:TLA. In the aftermath of her realization that her on-again, off-again relationship with Aang isn't going to work out, Katara takes Iroh up on his offer to fill the post of Water Tribe Ambassador to the Fire Nation, at least temporarily. She expects it to be more exciting than her alternatives back home, but battling conflict in a swiftly changing nation and rekindling feelings for an old friend may prove more than she bargained for.

This piece is in its pupal stage - key scenes are written, as are the first two or three chapters, but I want to make certain I know where its going and have some more chapters held in reserve to guard against writers block before I start posting.

Lonesome Dove -- A multi-chapter, possibly very long, Royai AU fic. Takes place in Texas just after the Civil War. Elizabeth Clarissa Ann "Riza" Hawkeye moves from war ravaged Georgia with her grandfather to tiny Lonesome Dove, Texas. She's looking forward to a simpler, quieter life, and falling for someone is the last thing on her mind. But that will change when she meets Roy Mustang, a former Union soldier and present Texas Ranger irritates and fascinates her to no end.

Possible Ghost Hunt, Teen Titans, and Skip Beat stories, each of which would need a bit of a stroke of inspiration.
