Ow. Owowow. Painful. But pretty. I liked it. I like that it's in second person, oddly. I never really liked Martha, so even though I know that technically the "you" in this piece represents her, I can ignore it and pretend it's someone else. The ideas expressed here are a bit complex, and the wording is a bit convoluted, but I still managed to grasp it and that speaks volumes about the truth of what you're writing and your skill as a writer.
