Author has written 29 stories for Due South, Smallville, Diana Wynne Jones, Veronica Mars, Harry Potter, and Dear Frankie. Not a lot to say about me ... I was writing appalling Mary Sue fan fiction way before I had even heard about fan fiction and before I even knew what a Mary Sue was. I believe fan fiction is the best form of flattery but have suffered in the past for writing Georgette Heyer inspired "speculative fiction" being fan fiction by another name. I think the bottom line is that it's a true credit to the original writers if the fans don't want a story to end or if it captures their imagination and they want to take the story further and speculate about the 'what ifs'. "Stranger than Fiction" (you don't have to be a Due South fan to enjoy it) probably best sums up my somewhat ambivalent feelings about fan fiction though I have to admit that it is such a lovely thing to be able to put your work out there and receive such immediate feedback. It's quite amazing... I've only included the stories I've written that didn't feel overly fatuous. I often struggle to capture the correct 'voices'. Oh well! Thank you for the kind reviews - they actually DO inspire me to write more. Yay for positive reinforcement. :D There's nothing more unsettling to see a huge number of hits and no reviews - you can't help thinking ... they hated it.
