Great Job. I Loved How Dean Practically Washed Sam Down, Giving Him Only A Token Chance To Clean Himself. XD

Wonderful, just wonderful. This is a scene I would've loved to see on the show, but you wrote it better than I'd ever imagined it.

Okay, I'm definitely creepin through a bunch of your fics, but I can't help it :)
I'm finding myself wishing again that they had put this kind of scene in the ep.

My fave piece:
"You need to be at Bobby's. You need to take care of yourself."
"So do you."
Dean glanced up once, then kept on with cleaning Sam's hands.
"I'm way past that, Sammy."
"Yeah." A sudden chill and spasm made Sam have to choke his words out through clenched teeth. "That's why I'm staying."

It's painful and so spot on for both characters. You know exactly what to add into canon to make the storylines complete, and this is great, angsty and brotherly and all sorts of wonderful. Thank you so much for putting your magic out here.

Even sick, Sam's right that he can kill demons that threaten Dean.

I have to tell you how much I absolutely LOVE this story! I just watched MBV earlier and went looking for tics dealing with Sam's fall off the wagon and this was just ten kinds of perfect!

Your voices were spot on and I loved Sam's continued points of how not_dead inside Dean is!l

Loved it. As everything I've read from you so far, it's very well written, but I also loved that Sam knew Dean would take Famine's words to heart and not dismiss them as not true. ...and I really, really appreciated that Sam wanted to stay with Dean, not only to protect him from demons (because even if, due to the blood, he could still technically kill demons, I doubt that Sam would have been able to concentrate enough) but to protect him emotionally from whatever guilt he would feel because of Famine's words. Oh, and the way you let Sam observe all those little things so that he knew that Dean could never be dead inside - excellently done. Nice choices!

To the world, Dean was cocky, bossy, rude, and so very, very self-assured, but Sam had long ago recognized the vulnerability hidden behind the brass and bravado. So he knew that Dean had taken what Famine said to him full to heart because he'd either dismiss it 100% or accept it 100%, and so far - he hadn't dismissed it. Sam watched Dean pace and thought not for the first time in his life that anything Dean did, he did 110%, even pacing. Love, hate, anger, forgiveness, whiskey, women, music and cars - whatever it was, Dean was all in or not at all. Sam knew, that someone as dead as Dean was supposed to be inside wouldn't always immediately take charge of difficult situations and see them through to the end. He wouldn't worry more about other people than he ever worried about himself and be forever willing to risk death to save everyone and anyone he even - impossibly - could.

He wouldn't pace like he was trying to leave footprints in granite.

People who were dead inside didn't instinctively give comfort.

Somebody who was dead inside wouldn't turn the rearview mirror down to keep an eye on his sick brother resting in the back seat.
