Very nice with the Ghosts - I can see each one, too. Love how you tied it all back to a "fever dream" for Dean. Really liked how each of the ghosts interacted with Dean. Pastor Jim, with the "sermons", and YED - great personalization! Also loved Mary, especially since she's been in S12 this past year. Kinda poetic, her being the "future"!

What would Christmas be without Charles Dickens? What a great Supernatural take on his classic tale. Thank you so much for sharing.

Possibly the sweetest first chapter ever written!

I love weechester, and I really like the idea of the "toilet roll" for the package, it's very creative very Sam and it's super cute but still show us that they made the best of what they had. Can't wait for the Christmas present, and YED?! hmm, makes me curious

This was such a clever idea. I especially loved the scene from the boys' childhood. (I love any glimpse back to those years.) Sam in the future vision broke my heart, especially knowing anyone he cared about had been systematically wiped out. Very moving.

This is wonderful. Drama and angst and the eventual realization that they really are stronger together. I loved who you chose as spirits, especially YED because Dean always loves more self-loathing. I also love that the future scene wasn't some perspective on the apocalypse or something, but was on Sam's Hell on Earth because that definitely means a lot more to Dean.

Wow, the Sam after Dean died was heartbreaking and could so imagine him doing that, taking out Meg and himself at the same time, not having recovered from losing Dean all those years ago. And very apt that the spirit of Mary was the one to show him the future.
Perfect ending Dean dreaming through his fever, having watched A Christmas Carol movie before he got sick. And great banter at the end.

The YED was really doing a number on Dean, playing on his fear of not keeping Sammy protected and trying to ram it home. Thank goodness for Mary turning up with Dean starting to believe him.

Fantastic first chapter. Loved how you had Pastor Jim take Dean back to Christmas past and what a bittersweet Christmas it was with absent John, though Dean made up for that with the dinner, tree and present for Sammy, and Sam with his homemade present for Dean.
Interesting that the YED is the one who appears in the second chapter!

This story is great! I know you finished it over four years ago, but thought I should still review- it has great timing, each of the characters you picked to be the "ghosts" are great, too. Really unique and awesome idea!
