Aw! This was so adorable. I love the stories where John is shown to be a father trying to cope with a hard life on the road with two little boys in the best way he knows how. You did a great job of capturing the essence of this. It's so nice to see that Sam did once think of his father as someone who could fix anything. And a side helping of big brother Dean! Again. Blew me away again. The day of TraSan here - I'ved loved each fic I've read today. This was a caring good father John that I loved, still sharing far too much with a 9 year old, but loving them both. Loved the interplay between them all - making them get out and run was inspired. Dean and Sam adorable and I thought correct for ages.

Lovely story. I think writing wee fic is hard; you need to think about their personalities when they were children and still keep them in character. This was great and the brothers come to live. Thank you so much for writing John as a caring parent. He made wrong choices and certainly wasn't the father of the year, but he loved his boys.

Young Dean was such a smart, protective boy and Sam was so intelligent and innocent, just like they really are. Thank you for the adorable little moments. You're amazing!

Aw! I like to think that sometimes they were happy in it all when they were younger. I know there was angst and sadness and issues galore, but essentially they were a family, which meant more than I think they can even appreciate.

What great Weechesters you paint, they're clearly kids in their actions and speech but you manage to make them a Sam and Dean that we can recognise. I liked the little touches you use to describe their child behaviour, I especially liked the shampoo in the eye and how they race around chasing each other.

You also managed to highlight their bond even as kids having Dean use his shirt to dap at Sam's bleeding head and how Dean doesn't ever run too far off. Sam is at the age where he can idolize his father and brother and I think that it's natural that he would think his Dad and also Dean are superhero's with secret identities and weapons and I guess in way little Sammy isn't too far off!

I also appreciated your take of John. Strict but caring and considerate of his children's need and I like seeing him being domestic and making sandwiches and breakfast! Lovely family fic that I really enjoyed. Thanks so much for sharing. Take care, Abbi.x

Aww cute Ickle!Sammy! Loved the bit where Dean asked him what superpowers he wanted if he could have some. Shame he never got to answer. Wonder if he'd have picked death visions followed by the ability to exorcise demons with his mind...?
