Great short fic, could so imagine John wanting to kill the pervert who tried to kidnap Sam but stopped himself because of what it would do to his youngest and knowing that he needed him at that moment. Perfect Dean instinctively knowing that something was wrong when he came out of school as Sammy wasn't bounding up to greet him and great that the cops were not going to press charges, after all John had done them a great favour. |

I liked how you compared the attacker to a predator, watching the unsuspecting Sam, enjoying the thrill of the capture. But of course, he was no match for the terrifying John in hunter-mode as he came to Sam's rescue. I loved how Dean, though confused, was worried about Sam. It's nice to see that for tonight, John stopped his research to explain things to Dean and soothe Sam, just to be a father for a while. Great job! |
