just so you know, about Ellen and Bobby read the Supernatural book makes me want to read fic where characters read their own Novel or watch their live. *sighed*
I wish something like that even exist. I only ever found one, and I'm no fan of the author. (no offence or anything to her.) And the fic only show Two episode so far. *shrugged*

Like the way Sam was cross-examining Dean about Azazel's wondering if Sam was 100% Sam... forgot about the minivan accident, of course Dean would be banged up by it. Like Sam's reaction, worried over Dean, just slightly. Feels like something is off between them ... ouch, reference to deals with the devil.. WHOA! Sam died on his birthday? of course, the deal being 1 year later.. ouch, Dean dying on Sam's birthday.. no wonder it's his least favorite day ever!
wow... what Dean did for Sam... "Sometimes it's good to remember."..,.and "To making them proud."

Whoa. I did not realize that all happened on Sam's birthday! That's awful. Gosh. I mean. Wow. No wonder Sam hates it. But Dean... Dean knows how to try to make it better. Because it's Sam's /birthday/ and I don't think he can physically not celebrate it.

I can see why Sam is not thrilled with the idea of celebrating his birthday - so much sorrow had happened on that date. I loved how Dean gave him gifts to remind him of some happier times. Very well done.

Companion or not, I've always known it was May 2nd for Sam's death and Dean's decent to hell. How could the writers skip a chance to make it all the more angsty for Sam?

I adored so much of this fic - Dean turning away and thinking oh yeah, I never thought Sam had changed at ALL, and birthdays were for simple older brothers, the mighty hunter references - and the presents Dean gave him.

Ahh, this was beautiful. It made me ACHE for both Sam and Dean - they've been through so much, poor boys:-( I never realised that Sam had died on his birthday:-( And I simply LOVED what Dean did for Sam at the end with those presents - it was beautiful;)

That was amazing! You are such a wonderful writer. You unearth things that they should elaborate upon in episodes! They would have learned a lot from Chuck's novels. And Sam's birthday! Most people don't catch that, let alone think about it's impacts.

"Apparently, childhood traditions were only for simple older brothers, though, not strong, focused Mighty Hunters like Sam." - This line made my heart hurt. Poor Dean. And poor Sam! Of course his birthday isn't going to be his favourite day. I'm surprised that the Show didn't make more of the fact that Dean made his deal on Sam's birthday - but then I don't think we've actually seen any of the boys' birthdays. I love the presents Dean manages to come up with for Sam; they're fabulous and just what our boy needs. Great story.
