Author has written 4 stories for Vandread, Mega Man, Armored Core, and Touhou Project. Hello everyone out there reading this! I am DarkShiftRising, or just DarkShift to some, since that's probably easier. I've finally decided to get down to actually writing something in here, so here goes. Age: N/A Gender: Male Power level: Unlimited. I'm an avid anime/game/manga fan, so you can probably expect my fics to draw ideas from the many animes, games and mangas that I've read. Of course, along the way, you can probably expect a few extremely high powered OC's to make the fighting more entertaining. Most of them, like in my Vandread story, will usually be around the same level as the main characters, but with a few tricks up their sleeves to make things interesting. Others, though...well, just be warned from the moment you hear the name Magnum Phoenix, get ready for some reality-shattering destruction! Best Animes I've ever come across: 1. TENGEN TOPPA GURREN LAGANN !! (No, seriously, this is THE greatest show you will ever watch in the history of anime awesomeness!) EDIT: 1 1/2. NeedLess (The only show currently in existence that has a chance of becoming the next Gurren-Lagann of anime) 2. Vandread (Cool story, and the animation wasn't bad either. Also, Meia is one of my most favorite female characters.) 3. FLCL (A bit weird, but come on! The main character used a freaking electric guitar as a weapon!! How can you not like that?!) 4. Black Cat (Cool gunplay, and an entertaining bunch of characters. Oh, and Sven rules.) 5. Devil May Cry (I don't care what anyone else says, it was still pretty damn good, and had some amazing artwork) 6. Final Fantasy Unlimited (Square Enix comes up with some brilliant ideas, and some of the stuff they had in this was no exception!) 7. Kurogane No Linebarrels/ Linebarrels of Iron ( I'm a die hard mech fan, so what the hell.) 8. Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro (Best mystery series I've found so far. Simple, entertaining, awesome opening theme, and it was damned funny too!) 9. Trigun (It was alright, but the manga was better.) 10. Negima?! (Pretty good, but it simply cannot touch the manga.) 11. Zero no Tsukaima/ Familiar of Zero ( Entertaining, to say the least. If there are any problems with that, I don't care.) 12. Hellsing Ultimate (Excellent. Vastly superior to the original anime, since it follows the manga exactly.) 13. Rurouni Kenshin / Samurai X ( Good, but let's face it. After Shishio, there really wasn't much point in watching it.) 14. Buso Renkin (Done by the same guy who created Samurai X, only this one was great right through to the end!) 15. Full Metal Alchemist (Great series, depressing-as-all-hell ending. Seriously. The ending practically ruined the whole series.) Best Mangas 1. Mahou Sensei Negima! ( Top of the list immediately! Best, most inventive manga ever! Ken Akamatsu is a genius! A perverted genius maybe, but let's not get into that...) 2. Beelzebub (A must read battle manga!) 3. Fairy Tail (It's got dragons in it. And huge, brawling fights. What more do you want?) 4. Hellsing (Best vampire manga you will ever read.) 5. Immortal Regis (A little known manga, but trust me, it is well worth reading!) 6. Cavalier of the Abyss (Sequel to Immortal Regis, but a little confusing right now, since it's only now starting.) 7. Akumetsu ( A nice, bloody tale of one man bringing a corrupt country to justice.) 8. Buso Renkin ( See anime comment) 9. Kurohime (Guns, magic bullets and a LOT of crazy stuff. ) 10. Rosario Vampire ( An entertaining supernatural manga.) 11. MxO ( This was just really good. ) Best Games: 1. Megaman Zero 1-4 2. Megaman ZX 3. Megaman ZXA 4. Megaman X: Command Mission 5. Devil May Cry 6. Devil May Cry 3 7. Devil May Cry 4 8. Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction 9. Mercenaries: World in Flames 10. Transformers 11. Hack/ G.U. Vol. 1, 2 and 3 12. Armored Core: Last Raven 13. Starcraft: Brood War 14. God of War 1 and 2 And that's about it! Or, at least whatever I can remember off the top of my head. Well I think this is enough info for now, so I'm outta here! Later! DarkShift Out!
