Or all that's worth mentioning at least. Hobbies: Reading, writing, singing, coding, playing the guitar. Oh, and playing video games. Currently playing: Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Super Smash Bros. Smash Bros. Main: Ike. Amiibos (with their respective names): Mario (Marisalami), Sheik (Pooka), Zelda (P. Diggy), Yoshi (Srs Broshi), Ike (TheRealIke). Words To Live By: "Manliness before victory!" Writing Abilities: English is love. English is life. It's also one of the most broken languages our society has ever known. I consider my writing abilities to be above average mainly because of the experience I've had writing things between school, work, and my hobbies. My writing has certainly improved since when I first joined this site back in 2009, so you might find my older stories to be rather mediocre compared to my more recent works. You can expect a certain level of quality from my writing, but I'm nowhere near good enough to call myself a real author. I just like writing to entertain people so if you're expecting something like Tolkien or Stephen King, then I'm afraid you'll have to look elsewhere. Reading: I'm mostly known in the Super Smash Bros. community as both an avid reader and writer. Stories that I find myself clinging onto usually include Humor, Adventure, Romance, Friendship, or anything with interesting pairings. I also don't mind reading those typical "OC goes to Smash Bros. land" stories even though more often than not they follow the same structure, and by that I mean they are either never completed or the main character is a Mary Sue. Stories that I follow will almost always strictly include Smash Bros. characters, and they'll also be catered around the teenage to adult audience. Stories that I stay far away from are the ones that are (for lack of a better word) unoriginal. You know the kind. Truth or Dares, Mishon from God knockoffs, Ask the Smashers, Submit Your OCs, Smashers React, Support Conversations... I've been around for a while and I've seen 'em all come and go. One thing that the Smash fanfiction community really lacks is originality, but I suppose perhaps that is asking too much from a fanbase that is mostly composed of children. Stories: When I first started writing fanfiction, I almost exclusively wrote Super Smash Bros. Resident Evil crossovers. There are some people who know me just for those stories, but in more recent years I've kind of segregated myself into the Smash Bros. community. As a result, the writing quality in the crossovers tends to be lacking compared to the stuff I've published in the past couple of years. Most of my stories tend to fall under the Horror genre, although I have dabbled with Romance, Adventure, and Humor numerous times in the past. I have a few other stories that don't fall under the Smash Bros. or Resident Evil categories, but those ones never really saw much attention from me. Smash is pretty much what I do now, although I do go back to visit Resident Evil every now and then. If you're looking for a new story to read, I would recommend taking a look at either It Came from Lucina's Head, Obsessed, or Lucas' Doll. If you're looking for something else, just take a peek at what I got below and see if anything suits your fancy. Reviews: My reviews used to be pretty mean when I started out, but now they tend to be a mix of criticism and praise. I'm not afraid to point out things that I think could have been improved in a chapter, but by the same token, I almost always make sure to say something positive to cancel out the negatives. Disregarding my reviews from 2009-2011, if you do receive a negative review from me, then chances are you deserve it. On the other hand, if I find it hard to criticize your story, then you'll probably hear nothing but praise from me. Most of the people who read my reviews tend to agree with me though, and authors almost always come back to me seeking advice when they realize there was something that they could have done better. The reason why I review this way is because I expect the same thing from reviews whenever I see them on my own stories. If something doesn't seem right about a story then don't be afraid to shout it out! Otherwise, the author might be doing something completely wrong without realizing it, which will undoubtedly end up affecting the story several chapters down the line. So if I happen to give you advice in a review, please heed it. If I didn't care about where you were taking your story, I wouldn't have left a review in the first place Smash King24's Christmas Contest 2014 The winners have been decided!
