While I indeed used to roleplay on Neopets back when I was a teenager, I do not anymore and have no desire to start again anytime soon. And as a sidenote, if you knew me back then you have my sincerest apologies; I'm fully aware that I was really annoying and I can't believe I acted like that.

This is also a character bash and ship bash free zone. I used to be one of those people that cared about OTP's back when I was the really annoying teenager mentioned above, but after a while I stopped caring and I'm happier because of it. Besides, why settle for one pairing when you can have a whole bunch?

I drew the cover for Moments. I know I'm not the best artist in the world because I didn't inherit my dad's artistic abilities, but hey, at least I'm practicing! And the stuff I draw now looks a lot better than it did back when I was in high school so... that's good I guess?

I grew up watching way too much Pokémon and Spongebob (And never stopped watching them if I'm being perfectly honest here). I also watch way too much Gilmore Girls, The Twilight Zone and Sonic Boom nowadays (and Steven Universe). That should sum up my sense of humor and personality in a couple of sentences. If it doesn't, I really don't know what else to say.

Nickname: You may call me Steel.
Gender: I'm a woman.
Age: Older than the Pokémon franchise, but younger than the Sonic franchise. I think that leaves a good time window while also leaving an air of mystery about myself.
Special Talent: A lack of social skills and being unintentionally insensitive. It's what happens when you're bullied your whole life and your only friends were imaginary for several years.

I grew up in what could be considered the "sticks" where we play wrestled for fun and I wasn't exposed to the Internet until I was ten (and even still, I only ever really went on Neopets until I was sixteen. Part of me wishes I never strayed outside of it.), so I turned to making up stories about my stuffed animals and action figures for fun. I've always had an overactive imagination, so naturally I was drawn to writing about what would play out in my mind. Eventually I discovered this site when I was sixteen and lurked here up until I made this account a couple years back so I could share my stories.

Writing is cathartic for me, so there's always going to be something new depending on my mood. If I'm in a particularly low mood though, expect more stories than normal since I tend to write a lot during those times. And as of recently I write while waiting for the bus and on the bus because hey, may as well, right?

I don't care for small talk. I'd much rather have a deep conversation with someone than go on about how the weather is or other trivial things. This arguably does make me difficult to bond with so to speak because I do lack those social skills, but just know that I'm not ignoring you. I just don't know how to start a conversation with you.

I really enjoy the horror genre. Now, more specifically the psychological horror genre, jumpscare horror makes me roll my eyes more times than not unless it's done incredibly well and it's not too repetitive. I know that horror isn't what I'm known for on here, but I wouldn't mind writing something along those lines one day.

I also have a tendency to pair Sonic and Mario together in stories. Why? I dunno, it started with an innocent headcanon that Sonic had a crush on Mario and evolved into its own beast over time. I've come to the realization that it's probably what people around here know me best for, and it's probably the so-called "legacy" I'm leaving behind when I pack up and leave the site hopefully not sometime soon, but we all move on eventually.

Please, if you ever find any sort of grammar error in my stories, tell me so that I can fix it. I won't get mad, I'm here to become a better writer and the first step towards that is fixing my grammar since I know I get confused on whether I should use a comma or a semi-colon. And I know I also need to work on descriptions sometimes, since I've noticed my writing can seem a bit bland at times. So please, help me out if you can!

For the sake of my pride, please do not bring up any stories I may have deleted. My mindset was in a really weird place when I wrote them, and quite frankly I'm downright embarrassed I wrote things that awful and let other people see it. For stories currently on my profile, you can relax, those aren't going anywhere. But for those two stories from 2016... no. Just no.
