The ska version isn't all that great in my opinion, though it could just be my aversion to NOFX. (There are so many better bands out there.)

This is one of most adorable stories I've read. Amazing work.

I like the story mostly. Love the cards. Would love to see them collected by Jess and woven into a story. It fits, just as you did this story. I don't think the Rory of this piece deserves the Jess, but I suppose it doesn't matter since he loves her anyway, flaws and all.

Pathetic, loser Rory on this one. Jess didn't "send her away." He reminded her that she loves writing, and being on the political trail. She could have stayed and sent the night with him like she planned, then met the bus where she intended. It made perfect sense, and was a nice spontaneous visit. Leaving early is just stupid and painful to both of them.

Rory is such an absolute idiot. She really doesn't deserve a guy like Jess. Really? Get drunk at the New Year's Eve party so you can't even kiss him at midnight. Then leave the next day when you previously suggested spending the time together while you had the opportunity.

I think this was one of my favorite Literati stories. Ever. Doesn't mean I haven't like them all, though. I've been crushing through all your stories this week. Loving them all! :)
