This story is simply amazing to read.

How you explained various things such as Plautena being the one to create the angels along with the pain and grief she'd experienced upon losing her angels who'd she come to love. It is very well written along with explaining why Pit is so devoted to Palutena.

This story is increidlble. I loved reading every word of this beautiful story. You did an excellent job with this one shot.

That was amazing . . . You were able to explain so many things, and it WORKED. Well, too. I keep thinking how I'd never be able to write something as good as this and keep all the details of the canon in mind, explaining them in detail. Another thing I wouldn't mind taking as headcanon . . . I'd give you constructive ways to make it better, but . . . I really can't think of any. I guess I'll just say you did a good job as always -

This makes the character backstories very sad... I might accept this headcanon. I really loved how you tied in Pit with the actual mythical Icarus - puts irony in Pit's words when he says "Who is this Icarus guy, anyway?" Answer, Pit; it's you.

This is a great background to build off of. I know I saw hints of it in "An Angel in Hell", and really hope you remember all of this if you ever take on a longer Kid Icarus project.

I was wondering if you were going to do anything with the scars you mentioned in your last KIU fic.

Very interesting story. I like the idea that she made an army of angels like Pit, but when they were all wiped out didn't make any more because she couldn't cope with the loss.

Very bloody battle as well. I like how you had Medusa actually suffering wounds and bleeding. And Pit's Leeroy Jenkins moment was cool. But still a Leeroy Jenkins. Did turn the tide of the battle though.

Palutena's experimenting with the feather was interesting to see. Especially her momentary shock at realizing there was a time limit.
The comb-over comment got a chuckle.

And Pit making the choice and then not even remembering it...yeah, that's gotta suck. But ya know, "Life or Limb" and it's not like he /lost/ a limb. He can still move them and all. He just can't...fly.

Anyway, over all, well done. Good luck with The Greater Desert.
