From the beginning I had been wondering how Envy's memories of how ha had gotten into the well could be so different from what Souta had told (given he had obviously told the truth) because Souta had spoken of a bargain and Envy hadn't even mentionned it.

Now, I see what happened.
(though all this time-travelling paradoxes are giving me such a headache)
