I wasn’t around for when this fic was being updated, but every now and again I find myself coming back to it. It’s now 2020, I am 25 years old and willing to admit that this fic was a guilty pleasure and a source of comfort growing up as a megaman fan. And I usually hate shipfics, even the lightest ones. A faint glimmer of hope resides in me that somehow, some way, Jikoken-o will find this again and update it, just so I can see how it resolves. But as the years pass, I’ve come to terms with the lack of ending as it gives the reader so much room to imagine the possibilities. Whether the author fell off the face of the earth or simply lost interest, they’ve left behind something wonderful and in my opinion, maybe something timeless.

gotta say, its been about 7 years so i highly doubt this'll ever be updated, but this is the first fanfiction thats 10 chapters long that actually held my attention through the entire story. well done my dude! :] this was a really interesting read and probably the most accurate depictions of bass and roll i've ever seen, i like to imagine that this just ended with roll somehow quietly returning home and then her and bass stayed friends (maybe more LMAO) after. so unless this ever updates, thats how i'll imagine it ending. good job!
